The tiny Scrap Rats were also a fun surprise. I Hope Bracca isn’t immediately left behind, and we get to see more of it. Possibly even how Prauf had found Cal. Prauf could potentially even help the bad batch Hide out since they were compromised, and Prauf has always been supportive of the republic, so why wouldn’t he help The Bad Batch.

Other comments for this video probably already say it, but you were right the first time. The water monster in fact IS a Dianoga. The subtitles for the episode confirm it. ( *Dianoga roars* ) And I know this is a video game, but Shadows of the Empire had a huge ass Dianoga, so they can get pretty big by established species rules. On another note, big shout-out to them including Galaxy's Edge popcorn within the Star Wars universe itself. XD

It was a Dianoga. If you turn on the closed captions it says something like [Dianoga roars]. When the maw surfaces, it also looks exactly like the gigantic Dianoga that was the boss at the end of the sewer level in Shadows of the Empire.

That would be funny if the first generation of Death Troopers were all Crosshair clones because that implies that what originally separates them from Stormtroopers is they all have mutations that ensure they can hit the side of a bantha. CC on the episode says it is a dianoga. I'm guessing we didn't see an eyestalk because it flipped upside-down to get its tentacles and maw closer to the juicy morsel just outside the water.

There's a Death Trooper in rebels who was female and it's said they recruit Death Troopers from the very best of Storm Troopers. Not to mention they got the name due to rumors about the Blackwing virus which Palpatine chose to name them after. And yes the virus actually is canon thanks to SW Commanders.

The one that slaps the vehicle Cal and Prauf fell onto (After Prauf falls, and Cal uses the force to slow him?).

Hunter has his removed as well, i believe. it's hard to tell but you can see a small white bandage under his headband. It was only there in the scene with Rex at the end. They mentioned specifically that they had to use the Venator or go back to Kamino to take out their chips; Maybe they'll somehow take Crosshair's chip out on Kamino? Thanks guys for the reaction :)

If you've ever played Shadows of the Empire you've seen the full body of a Dianoga, they grow to their environment like a plant. The one on coruscant is colossal. The Mantel mix was a nice touch. Every planet has their own flavor of corn mix. At Galaxy's Edge, the Batuu mix is like sriracha and froot loops it's a great post mission snack.

Is anyone else really worried about Tech in the long term story? If Omega does have mimicry, then she spent a bunch of this episode learning to do what he does, so he isn't strictly necessary. Add to that the fact that he hasn't had any real character development as of yet, and he is a prime candidate to be Crosshair'ed, which he would have to deal with once he is de-chipped.

A little late to the party, but I'm really glad that we got to see Wrecker about to shoot Omega. Hear me out! We've seen Wrecker and Omega become such close friends and family and Wrecker wasn't going to hesitate for a second to end her life. Really gives weight to the idea that no clones, not even the best and most loving, can hold out against the chip. It simply cannot be done. The chips control is absolute. It really humanizes the clones and how tragic it is. Now we have it confirmed that Wrecker was fully aware of his actions... He remembers all of it. If you remove the chip from a clone and they've kept all their memories and how they couldn't stop... What happens to Cody if his is removed? And he remembers everything?

Funny thing is that they might have had 1-10 missions offscreen for Sid, since they have the Mantel Mix tradition. If there will be a Bad Batch comic that would be a nice story. Also all the other Reactors think Mantel Mix is popcorn, but to me it looks like Giotto an European sweet, which packs more calories and would be more like soldier rations, cause it doesn't grow stale or become sticky.

True but there's no way Cal would trust The Bad Batch. This is like a few weeks after Order 66, so he would hide as soon as he saw a clone. However... I do hope that next episode, Omega is on the run from Crosshair's group and bumps into Cal, in some way. Maybe he even helps hide her, that would be cool. There's no way he'd know that she's a clone and they are around the same age.

I wonder if Crosshair's chip can't be removed without killing him... With the Empire amplifying the chip's effect I could see it having sort of taken root in his brain even more so. Like it's grown roots into his brain as a whole, it's interconnected with his entire being now. Maybe he'll overpower it by sheer will and do the right thing at the right time, saving everyone but sacrificing himself. Of course that would make Reeka seem weak in a way, since he ultimately couldn't control it... It's a possibility though, we know that Rex and Reeka fought off the effects for a minute. Maybe if the situation is hairy enough Crosshair can pull through for just long enough to die a hero.

1. I love the Lord of the Rings vibes with Rex in the bar and the monster in the water. 2. Rex mentioned that there are other Clones who disobeyed Order 66, but that it's rare. For me that's the confirmation that some of the more independent and older clones might be on that list. This could also make it possible to get some Legends characters (where the chips did not exist) like some Republic Commandos or alpha/null-class ARCs. 3. The person Rex was talking to, could be Ahsoka, but if you turn up the volume, for me the voice sounds male. So maybe Bail Organa? Or other clones? 4. I got horror movie vibes from wrecker's controlled rampage. I thought about Jason or Myers.
