So for those who don't know, the short explanation of an Ion Engine is that they draw power from the ship's main power cores, to charge inert gas particles. These now electrically excited particles are then pushed out at incredibly high speeds, through an incredibly small hole. Essentially it's a huge electric compressed gas engine. The power needed for these engines comes from a ship's Fusion Reactors, which essentially create tiny sun's which provides all the power they need.

Yes, his general view point is altered because of the inhibitor chip, but his actions ars still his actions. Coming up with the idea to cook the Bad Batch alive inside the thrust engine was made by his conscious mind, not the chip. Doing such nasty things are irredeemable in my eyes.

Technically, Cad is the space Lee Van Cleef. Cleef’s character Angel Eyes from The Good, The Bad And The Ugly was a big inspiration when they were developing the character.

The reason Hunter survives the showdown (which is directly ripped from the scrapped Boba vs Bane shootout - almost shot for shot) is because he wears modified Katarn class armour (used by Clone/Republic Commandos) which have personal deflector shields as will as being incredibly thick. The armour is only a fraction of the reason Commandos were considered so much more advanced than standard clones, but the cost and resources put into just a single Commando far surpasses a handful and a half of normal Clone Troopers.

Clone force 99 wears katarn Class Commando Armor the same armor clone commando's use. And yes it is way stronger then regular phase 2 armor in canon it's specifically referred to as heavy armor. The only difference between clone force 99's katarn armor and the commando's is that clone force 99 further modified the armor since they're more specialized then the normal commando's. The fact that cades blasters couldn't penetrate that armor is pretty impressive considering we've seen his blaster pistols shatter both durasteel ceilings of venator's and blow good sized junks out of solid stone walls in cliffs. It should be noted that canon katarn class armor isn't as strong as the EU variants of it but that's still showing pretty impressive durability regardless. I very much loved the republic commando easter egg at the end same hud, crosshair's and bacta injector/revive sounds as the game.

Definitely, but we need more Cad Bane first. At least a few more episodes. Filoni probably reworked and enhanced the Boba and Cad Bane duel. Instead of the old man in the unfinished animated duel, Boba will most likely be dueling Cad for Omega instead. Hoping to see a brother/sister type bond with Boba and Omega. Hopefully we’ll get that in the season finale, which will hype up The Book of Boba Fett even more.

My take of the Bounty Hunters. I think the Kaminoans only hired Fennec, hoping to keep it on a low profile. Which is why, as Cid said, it was a direct commission job she was on. When Fennec failed, and now in this episode, Crosshairs and team is sent to kill the BadBatch, the Kaminoans are running out of time and getting desperate, so they hired more Bounty Hunters, which includes the best, Cad Bane. Who also works on direct commissions. Lama Su did say, I dont care which one of these Bounty Hunters do it, long as they bring the young one back.

The Elite Squad troopers and the clones in general have always had those little ridges on the tops of their helmets ever since Phase II armor was first introduced to the Republic army. They're not "now" looking a lot like Stormtroopers. They've *been* looking a lot like Stormtroopers ever since the Phase II armor was being "phased in", pun intended. ;)
