Old captain landing. WW somehow survived 24 hrs. Great progress made tho especially many concrete bases destroyed

Partisan captured an unlocked WW and sprang a surprisingly effective landing on the eastern shores of the Great Warden Damn. Hell of a lot of fun to capture a town with entire warden gear! Those cutlers are busted AF. Defended one of many spud landings on the east shores of tempest a few wars back, mowed em down with an MG and captured a starbreaker they couldnt deploy in time

I saw an Ocdt ask for volunteers for a landing. Turns out they only had 120 shirts. A very kind FMAT man gave us 400 when I told him I didn't want to crush the Ocdt's hopes and dreams (he already made the whale). We put out a call for infantry, get about a dozen low very new players and three tanks. A random collie partisan in a barge sees us coming. Someone is wearing a radio backpack so our exact position is being shown to the entire Warden faction (and our alts) in real time. A dozen collies slaughter us as we land in Fishermans. Next time I'll start the op with a little lecture on operational security... but still try to include the new players...

You’re missing the absolutely most insane one, I was of a warden beach landing at cometa a week or two back we had I think 7-8 different clans, and we’ll over 20 tanks, we had so many people we locked up served we passed through and we went all the way to ash fields to try and nuke ash town. Alsmot every warden clan fighting on the west coast was there. Unfortunately the invasion was leaked and the beach mined but goddamn was it a feat of logistics, the what part was as we went all the other wardens were freaking out

Yea they need to re-do the naval/amphibious aspect of the game a bit me thinks. Sure naval landings should be hard and I'm not asking them to be made too easy, but things like proper landing craft and shore bombardment craft, supply ships and temporary floating harbors. Alongside some proper beach defenses like anti ship mines, costal batteries and things would give the river crossing/naval invasion gameplay loop some variation and more tools to use.

Game boxes you in to same-ey gameplay. Rivers and beaches and the reality of organization mean viable options limited to Arty + Tank land warfare through chokepoints.
