Do you have a weak side that you have to work on when it comes to your riding position on your motorcycle?

Thanks for sharing your carefully considered thoughts. I know I feel more comfortable going left than right and I think that's a natural thing for a right handed/legged person. If you were hanging off a building you'd probably lean your left out too and cling on with your right!

It tells me you’re riding JGP counter clockwise! lol Had a blast this weekend-you were killing it!

I have the same issue on the right side at my local track. For me, my right boot touches down. I am working on getting everything tucked up and out of the way.

Met you at the penguin racing school on Friday. I was on the H2. I ride mini bikes with Fabrizio. Another issue you might be having is your rear spring is too soft for your weight or your pre-load needs to be adjusted. if you haven’t adjusted your suspension then you’re probably crushing the spring around corners because they aren’t set up for your weight which is causing your peg to drag prematurely. Obviously body position can cause the same issue or maybe you’re having a combination of both.

It is definitely a combination of both. I have to look at my monoshock a little closer and try to dial it in.

Very interesting. You watch your videos before you post them for sure. Your body positioning is always left eye forward. You are definitely left eye dominate. I am the same. That’s why you kill left hand turns. Perhaps train yourself to rely on your right hand side-aka right side dominant to balance out your riding. God luck my friend!

I understand that the U.S. tracks are mostly counterclockwise!? Are there no clockwise tracks in your area? That would certainly get you up to speed. 👍

There's a mix of what the primary direction is for the different tracks. Also, in terms of track days, tracks/orgs will switch the direction for the day.

Hey Rembo, do you still the “hero” bolts on the footpegs? I’ve always removed them. They are like sensors that stop you from leaning than working on body / knee positioning. The flexing of the footpeg is an auto-reaction sensor.
@RemboUSMC2 жыл бұрын
I leave them on as they are only as long as the nut and don’t stick down far
@stevesane8002 жыл бұрын
@@RemboUSMC yeah, on some bikes they are super long. Interestingly, I’ve always removed them because my knee is my gauge. A personal question, do you have a hearing imbalance? I lean more on my right than my left because my left has about 15% less hearing… I wonder…

Every one has one side stronger. I am right sided. It needs practice.
