Hey! I am currently reading the New Policeman. Im 7 chapters in and not sure how I feel about it yet... I did read Bone Gap recently which I basically inhaled. Yup. But really the people we gotta blame for that trend is the publishers who are chasing it. "This book of x and x sold well, so we'll make a similar title and it'll be just as good!" (Basically a "screw you author" for those who thought the title and content of their traditionally published book was their choice. FYI in case you didn't know, it's not. If the editor or publisher says something has to change, whether it really does or not, you, as the author, have no choice but to listen. 😤😬)
