Nice explanation! The very first slide also has a 16th note pick chunk preceding it. I just noticed it myself :-)

Oh. Great song Mark. Catching up on some if your videos. John Sykes is a god! Love his way if shaking a string. Almost sounds like he's using a tremelo even though he's not. Man, your helix tones are just killer. I'm thinking about the new POD Go, as well as the Atomic amplifier 6. So many ways to sound good now as compared to when I was growing up. Kids don't realize how good they have it now. 😂 Thanks so much for sharing these. I figured out the song Bad Boys by the scorpians yesterday. What a great song, and Matrhias Jabs is so inder rated. That song is just too cool the way Matthias uses inversions for the chords so that he's not playing the exact same barr chords that Schenker is in the song. Plus, his lead in that song is killer and very creative. Have you ever heard of the very late 80s and early 90s band Tora Tora? They only had a couple big hits because they were coming on strong at the time Grunge was being popularized. Anyway, they have a really fun boogie woogie song called " Walking Shoes" that is sooo much fun. They were all Really young when they wrote these songs. Like 17, 18 yrs old. Check them out if you haven't heard of them. Just do a search here on YT for the song " Walking shoes" by Tora Tora. Great lesson sir as usual from you, and your tone is always spot on. Stay safe my Scott friend. Tim. USA..

@@mastertheguitar Hey Mark. Thought I'd send you a couple Tora Tora links. The band I was telling you about. These guys were really young when the wrote this music which is just amazing to me since it's really good blues based hard rock. They got into the game a little late and grunge was taking over, but they still had a couple MTV hits and sold quite a few records all things considered. Anyway. The first song is just my personal favorite because it uses one of those big Jimi Hendrix chords and is so blusy. The second song ( link) is their big hit. One of them. They had 2 or 3 big hits considering. Hope you don't mind me sending you this. I just thought you would dig it since we both have the same sorta tastes in music sir. I first saw one of your videos in 2007 (Always On The Run - I still play that riff thanks to your lesson) and I get super sentimental whenever you post a new video. This is the earliest channel I remember following. Thanks for everything Mark.

Does that tone have a lot of chorus in it or is it a harmonizer?
