Honestly, all the scandals on sperm banks right now are INSANE. I need to get more into reading non-fiction. I never gravitate toward them when looking for books. A lot of the ones you mentioned here sound really interesting!

Hey, came back to say thank you for the Catch and Kill recommendation, my library had it and I blew through the first 150 pages today like it's a great legal thriller rather than a non-fiction!

The Sweet Hereafter was absolutely amazing and had Sarah Polley in it, but it was TOTALLY eclipsed by Titanic because they came out in the same year. I strongly encourage you to watch it> it’s Sarah Polley’s absoluely best accting work, bar none.

My thing is if you go to a speed donation clinic, why do these women care who the father is? They ignorantly don’t value a father in the child’s life. So what does it matter if he has 200 other kids?? The lesson should be to choose an actual father who can be a part of their child’s life

I have a question that I’m having a difficult time finding advice on. Do you have any tips on how to pick between 2 possible endings for your story? I’m writing an adult murder mystery with 2 ending ideas that I think are equally good, but I don’t know which to choose. Do you think it’d be practical to write out both endings and then have a beta reader, or someone else, decide which they like better? Or do you have alternative suggestions for how to decide which is the right fit for the overall story?
