Bad Chad driving through the Rockies w/ Jolene

Quick update on our travel dilemma:
we're still waiting for our Australian travel visa to get sorted
if it gets sorted in a timely manner, we will still go for last leg of the tour
to fly home from Vancouver will cost $2,500
to fly home from Edmonton will cost $500
to drive from Vancouver to Edmonton will take 12 hrs
Instead of our venture across the country being a waste we want to make the best out of an unfortunate situation so we’ve made the decision to rent a car and drive to Edmonton.
Today we will be filming the drive thru the Rockies from Kelowna to Banff 🏔️
We’ve also been searching marketplace for cars for sale in the area so if we find anything worth checking out we’ll also film and share that with you guys.

This is a wondeful Trip I have taken it 3 times 1966 Bothways, 1980 from Vancouver West to Calgary, and on the Rocky Mountaineer over the Canadian pacific Tracks from Vancouver to Calgary. Thank you Chad and especially Jolene for the wonderful videos in spite of the less than ideal conditions.

Enjoyed coming along with you as you drove through the Rockies, did the loop from Edmonton to Banff then up the Icefields to Jasper and back to Edmonton all in one day this past October. Enjoyed seeing the mountains again as that was my first time. Thanks again, from the Ontario Boy.

The drive from Sicamous to Calgary on the Trans Canada Hwy #1 is a drive all Canadians should do at least once in their life!! Right at the 9:33 to 9:43 mark, a very long tome ago over that hill to the left there was a battle between 2 local indiginous tribes. Just a bit of BC history for everyone. Oh, and 3 Valley Gap where the red roofs are there is an antique car museum there where you noticed the old fire truck !

Are we there yet?Well Sugar My Puffs Must be some of the most spectacular views ever. Man would I like to do that drive, in a hurry to go no where fast. The road doesn't seem to be so busy. Nice easy relax drive, been able to stop at small towns, out for a walk around. looks great just my kind of drive, no matter how far I't all just up the road and round the corner.
