Man I love these vids but this one wasn’t a bad combination. As Brock beards latest video said regarding this team they changed motors from tri star motors to Robert Yates motors and they had better luck after it for the small team they were his Michigan run he had Yates power

@@hughesmovesgaming8748 yeah it's just the fact that this team showed quite a bit of speed with Dick Trickle in the late 90s. Sure, it was inconsistent, but it was there. Similar to early 2000s Petty Enterprises. There was speed, the guys driving the cars just weren't getting the job done. Hut, unfortunately, had a track record of not getting results over the years even when he ran for big budget operations, save the one fluke at Darlington with the Stavola Bros. I'm not knocking him, it's just the facts.

@@hughesmovesgaming8748 but a couple of weeks after the Michigan run they went right back missing races and Junie cut him loose with like five races left in the season

@@hughesmovesgaming8748 I compare this situation to Buckshot in the 44. He was missing races, running in the back and tearing up equipment. As soon as he was fired Nadeau almost won in that car and Biffle ran up front in his two starts in the car. On paper it's almost exactly the same kind of deal. Speed was there, Buckshot just couldn't get it done. 2002 moving forward isn't a good measuring stick because Junie couldn't acquire proper funding

@ don’t take my word on it fully but I heard it’s because hut got the ride at BDR and took the sponsor with him so Junie cut em loose early because he was mad hillls bros didn’t wanna miss races regularly

@@robbyeckmann7169 yeah whatever Junie and his team did when they built that Michigan car is what they should have done on a regular basis. He finished top twenty several times that year in that car on Mile and a half tracks. They were just garbage literally everywhere else
