Just before "All Right Now" was released, Free were playing in Retford at a Ladies College. My friend and I went for a pint while the support group were on, We came back and four lads were playing football with a tennis ball in the tennis court. We joined in and after about ten minutes, they said "We've gotta go now, we're on". We got a mention from them, great days and gigs were fun and cheap!

Paul Rodgers created two of my favorite ROCK bands, Free and Bad Company. Free's "Alright Now" was the first real rock song I was introduced to by my Uncle.. he always introduced me to great music that was never playing in my house LOL...
