Hi Everybody,
I am so excited to be able to share with you all my second collaboration that I did with my very talented friend HousePuzzle to the song "Bad Day" which is originally by Daniel Powter. I cant get over how beautiful the piano instrumental is that HousePuzzle composed, "WOW" truly amazing and so glad I was able to record my vocals to it for the song! I really hope you love my rendition of this fantastic song and the music video! We had such a fun time recording the music video and the song. I am so glad we were able to work on this song and show in the music video what it is like to live with Cystic Fibrosis since I sometimes dont like letting people know I have Cystic Fibrosis because I think they may look at me as if I am different but now I know it is one of the things that makes me unique. Make sure to remember when you are having a bad day to smile and think about how you are unique and special in your own way.
This cover is very sentimental to me in how I look at life because when I was little I was very sad and depressed and worrying about dying at a young age due to having Cystic Fibrosis. The disease has led to a lot of people bullying me over the years, but as I have gotten older I have learned to live in the present and not worry about a couple Bad Day's that were in the past. We all must be able to focus on our future! It was hard for me to think about having a future when I was little cause I would have to hear from people that a lot of the cfers die at a young age and don't make it to 30. Honestly, I was afraid of that, but now I know I am gonna make it past 30. I keep myself healthy due to how I take care of myself. I am grateful for life.
I really hope that somehow you can listen to my cover of this song and hear my story of what my life is like with Cystic Fibrosis.Trust me even though I am healthy I don't have an easy life; no cfer does. That's why I hope that I can raise awareness to help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. All of us cfers have to have some hope that we will be okay, and it will get easier one day. Hopefully, this song will remind you of how good life can be.
