I've driven in downtown Toronto 3 times, twice for the international auto show, and once for a work meeting, and it was awful, confusing, everyone honking, just ridiculous... I've also driven in Richmond hill and Vaughan, that's a little easier, but I live in Prince Edward County so I'm more used to country driving, but you have mad patience, do you ever get stressed out driving around the Toronto area?

albert7139 My family tries to avoid the GTA at all costs literally because of the stress and traffic. My grandparents visit from Michigan a lot and they dread having to go to Toronto to do anything just because of the stop/go conditions. I don’t really go downtown as much unless I’m with friends/cousins because it’s just to hectic. I live in Ancaster (Hamilton suburb) and compared to Mississauga/Toronto, that might as well be the country. It has taken me nearly 3 hours (2h50 mins) from downtown Toronto to my house in Hamilton during rush hour on Thursday/Friday. Left at 3:10, arrived 5:45ish... which is insane because it should be less than an hour exact.

ok now listen, i'm not racist at all but it really does seem like the worst driving i see in the toronto area is by visible minorities, sure theres bad white drivers too but i would love to see actual statistics to show me if i'm right or wrong but it seems to have gotten much worse in just past few years, overly aggressive, overly reckless... by all means tell me i'm wrong and i'm just imagining it but it sure seems that way to me. Too easy to get and keep a license in Toronto?? i've driven all over north america and i am ashamed at how bad the drivers are in toronto
