Hey! As an educator, there’s something I would expand on in your video about bad habits. Instead of thinking “Oh, I need to get rid of this bad habit right away” and going cold turkey, there’s a more effective way to think: Replace your bad habit with a new habit. Instead of thinking “I’m just not going to do X”, think about “Okay, every time I think about X, I’m going to try to do Y instead”. Framing it this way mentally will give you a tangible goal to replace and rid yourself of a bad habit. Cheers!

That is exactly how i solved one of my problems with fiora. Im a fiora main and every time i used to waste my w wayyy too early and it kinda just got me losing all the time. So one time i was against a jax and in the start of the game i got wrecked, he destroyed my lane so what i said to myself is that "every time he uses his e (his stun) i would use my w (counter) 1 second after I wanted to first use it" , AND IT WORKED LIKE MAGIC. I w almost every e or every other stun in the enemy team for the entire game and also every other game i played fiora since then. Sometimes you just need to push those habits aside and put new ones to get used too that's how you improve in lol and mostly in life.
@itorres0083 жыл бұрын
It should be done to communicate in game with the team, too. It's not as helpful to tell a guy "don't do X" because there's a dozen other things he could do but you haven't given him direction as to what to do. More useful to tell him, "Better do Y because of this and that."

And this is the trap people fall in rank or not these bad habits can form; Once, they do you're behold to them. So yes normals is a more relaxed form of League of Legends. Then, I 1v1d against a level 7 mastery yasuo expert friend of mine and he beat me, alot, because his yasuo in aram 1v1s is not winnable by yone. That made me more scared of any matchup and was sitting back losing even more cs than originally. Yesterday though, I found the middle ground, I got all the info I neeed since the last 1v1, I learnt the hard matchups, the ez ones, practiced farming too. Like the coach says, if you acknowledge your weaknesses you become stronger. I found this new leveling technique from way of the tempest and now I do a lot better.

Biggest tip I'd give anyone wanting to climb is play in sets of 3. If you win 2 games, lose 1, keep going. If you lose 2 games, and win 1, take a break or stop playing for the day, or go into arams/norms to cool off. People don't realize how much tilting can influence you and everything. Another tip I personally used was talk to myself about what I was doing, I stream so my friend can watch on discord, and it's crazy how much I can think by saying it out loud. I pretty much climbed from plat to diamond with the best of 3 tip, sometimes less is more, but a lot of people don't get that.

I did main fiora for a while with a 64%win rate but then I started losing, like 40% win rate and I did quit her. I learned some weeks ago that I was losing because I was expecting to win without effort. So just failing one or two vitals got me tilted, and I would lose all games after too. So the lesson is to accept mistakes (because also pros do some), playing always perfectly is impossible, so be ready to do some dumb stuff (like a friend who lost early game against a kayle playing Darius ...)XD

One problem is thinking about or calling "playing" - "practice". Practice is a repetitive activity to improve a particular skill, including drills, simulated game situations, etc. Playing is usually for fun, trying to win instead of practicing new skills. Unfortunately, proper practice in LoL is limited by options in Practice Tool. You can't get together two teams and practice the exact situation over and over or other things. Maybe possible if Riot improves Practice Tool for whole teams, implements chronobreak back to a spot and such.
@carmelorosario1553 жыл бұрын
The most learning is done actually done during sleep. So an 1 hour of play with 8 hours of sleep is better than hours of play and only 4 hours of sleep. That is not say practice is bad. You just need to make sure that your having fun while playing. Not having fun will cause you to focus on "winning" and less on good decision making. This paired with a good night's rest is a recipe for success.
