I used to work in pro-Palestine activism (back in the 2000 all the way into the early 2010) and since then, I've had to stop because emotionally, it has really taken its toll on me (one of the activists I worked with was killed in Gaza and that in itself, while you're raising two toddlers, spends you emotionally to a point that's difficult to describe). Palestine has always stayed in my heart, though. And when October 7th happened, it felt like giving birth during Operation Cast Lead all over again, only worse... a nightmare that would never end so long as Zionism existed. So I started obsessively following all you wonderful non-Zionist Jews, not just the old guard (Finkelstein, Pappé, etc), but now Matt Lieb, Katie Halper, the Matés, Zach Foster, Simone Zimmerman, etc. (also Barnaby Raine on my side of the Pond). I did it because you guys all gave me a glimmer of hope when all my hope was dying. Never would I've imagined that I would have found some of the best comedy I could ever hope to encounter, not only in the form of this channel and Matt Lieb, but now the wonderful Blakeley, my newest most treasured discovery! Thank you, guys, my morale has been slightly boosted. I still see a hell on earth unfolding and a people persecuted and oppressed that I never would have imagined to see in my lifetime while studying the Holocaust at school. At least I've rediscovered the magic of parody in extremely tragic times.

You'd think that someone who lost his legs while serving in a war would feel some sympathy for all the children whose limbs are being blown off or amputated without any pain killers or after care meds. They shouldn't make fun of his legs, but they should definitely shame him for not caring about children who won't have the same privilege of getting expensive prosthetics, and if they survive this genocide, have to endure a life being permanently maimed which severely limits their prospect for finding work and providing for themselves.
