I love how Walt is playing on Hank’s emotional incapabilities. It’s the same with every “touchey feeley” situation. He deflects and tries to escape. Just like when Marie had that issue with shoplifting. He didn’t know how to deal with it and tried to hide the situation.Walt knows talking about his emotions would make Hank uncomfortable and he played on that to get him out the room for a brief moment. Also Hank at this moment was top dog in the DEA, he probably wouldn’t want to be seen being vulnerable so he then closed the blinds, giving Walt and him privacy to talk about personal discrepancies. This is probably an obvious conclusion I’m making here but it’s still so fascinating seeing this level of detail, especially for a moment like this where the situation isn’t extremely critical.

If it were smaller, the network support guy MIGHT assume it’s an adapter, but not something that big - especially where network security is REALLY important (like the DEA).

They do Physical Network sweeps periodically and not everyday. Walt and his crew only wanted quick surveillance to be able to know if hank knew about one of the barrels being tagged. The Network Admins wouldn’t notice nothing unless they were right next to that rig.

@@ameyajoshi742 Ya I work in government with sensitive info and we don't sweep in a way that would routinely catch things like this unless the PC has an issue.

Giving Hank and Marie a son in the show could have added some depth. They could have done a plot where his son was also working in the DEA at its lower levels and maybe working his way through college, obviously far more successful than Walt Jr. could ever hope to be, playing into Walt's insecurities. Then, maybe Hank's son gets killed by the cartel through an indirect action by Walt, like the 737 plot, and his son's death leads Hank down the path to investigating Heisenberg. Maybe Skyler also finds out that Walt had something to do with it, and tries to leave far earlier than Ozymandias. It could've been very interesting.

i like how he's taken his time to process what he said to Hank and not immediately do what he's come for, (i dont remember what he did exactly) . I think it was Walt , what was left of him , he did cry for real

I love how Walter goes in trying to manipulate Hank, but he genuinely starts to break down and feel his feelings, he went in trying to be a sneaky guy but actually began to realize how things really are and he broke down as a husband and father
