Michael Jackson has more energy whilst standing still at this concert than most other artists have over their whole concerts. It's electric. This man is singing live. Just imagine Justin Biber would move that much whilst singing.

Well then. This just reminded me that I've aparently never seen the full concert at Wembley; this performance was entirely new to me! So that was a very welcome treat! Since you brought up the This Is It rehersals I have to wonder if you've ever seen the Billie Jean rehersal tape from Dangerous Tour rehearsal in 1992. Obviously a rehersal is not the same thing as a full performance in front of an audience, but it's something special none the less. :D As for other, special live performances that actually were propper performances... how about his tribute to Sammy Davis Jr. "You were there" or his tribute to Elizabeth Taylor "Elizabeth I love you"? Both are songs he only performed once.

Oh what the heck! XD - I've been trying all afternoon to get 'Bad' from my Thriller album CD onto my computer to spare my CD a bit of work, yet that is the one track that just won't copy over. Then I watched a gameplay video of a channel I follow and one of the content creators randomly decided to burst into that song after someone mentioned the word 'bad' - and now you guys are sharing a reaction to a live performance of that song as well XD Today must be a bad day, aparently, haha. Loved your commentary and insight as always! =D (Even though I've been a silent lurker since I've found your chanell 3 weeks ago. I *have* enjoyed your content greatly thus far. ^^) If it's live performance suggestions to watch you want, then my mind immediately goes to Beat It Live in Bucharest in 1992. I LOVE the sheer energy in that one. Earth Song live in Seoul, South Korea in 1999 is also special and one that I always think of when I think of MJ performing on stage. It's different enough from the one in Munich you have on the channel to be worth a watch, but I'm not sure if it's enough to make a video on it, so I'm somewhat hesistant on that. Let's see... his combined performance of both Dangerous and Earth Song at Wetten Dass in 1995 was absolutely stellar as well, I can highly reccomend that one. And who could forget the way he performed Remember the Time at the Soul Train Music Awards in 1993. That one really is amazing at showcasing the stage presence this man had, considdering he was injured at the time. As for a non-live performance... Since unfortunately the anniversary of his death is approaching next month, I wanted to ask if you had considdered doing 'Childhood' for that day, perhaps. That song/video is so often overlooked by the mainstream audience and rarely watched by fans due to emotions it evokes, but I feel like it would be apopriate for that date. Especially since that was one of the songs Michael wanted his fans to hear. Quanto a este vídeo da Bad Tour, MJ cantou ao vivo não só aqui, mas em todos os shows da Bad Tour e em todos os anteriores. À partir da Dangerous Tour, ele passou a usar playback em alguns momentos, mesclando vocais ao vivo com os gravados, mas só em algumas músicas. Espero ter te esclarecido sobre sua dúvida. Abçs.

I like the way you bring back MJ's culture. Still, this version is lipsynced, so you'd better react to the Bad tour Yokohama version, which is 100% live. You'll see the difference and of course it's even better 😉🤟🔥

Not quite sure if the whole performance was lipsynced. Mike indeed sounded really really great in 1988 and almost had no problems killing it live vocally.

@@itsjustnaima of course there is some ad lib at the end that are live, but the rest of the song is lipsynced, so please listen to this : kzbin.info/www/bejne/eJXYoXicec6jo7s It's also amazing, but you can still hear some differences with the studio version, also cuz MJ liked to sing differently on purpose, which was so cool. And also cuz sometimes you can hear imperfections when he's too far from the mic, for instance. I love MJ, and when it's about live performances, I prefer to show people when he sings live for real, cuz he is very good actually ✌️♥️

@@itsjustnaima he absolutely was amazing in 1988 but once the tour reached Europe in late 1988 his vocals began to wear out due to overuse so a few songs had to be lip synced to preserve his voice and he got sick often. He performed bad live in 1987 the whole first leg as well as th early 1988 concerts in the US(Kansas city, New York City prime examples)

Not a good choice for the song performance as he lip synced the song in this concert, you should have reacted to Bad Live in Yokohama 1987 where he sang it completely live vocals, unfortunately he began lip syncing the song in late 1988.
