Why have children or animals if you don't intend to treat them well. It boggles my mind. Some people aren't fit to own a picture of a cat much less a live one.

The cat is definitely starving to eat bread. It's not a good food source but when desperate they will eat it. Poor little thing. That's why my latest two are rescues - and they protect my chickens! Literally. They love sitting with my girls and sleep with them if they get the chance. Living happily together. Thank you for helping it and getting it to a safe place for care. Curious - does George not like cats? Or is she allergic? I can't imagine life without a cat or two in my home, and with chickens outside, they do help keep the vermin at bay! They earn their living for sure!

It's a tuxedo cat. I used to have one. Cats are very smart trying to survive. Hopefully you can catch it and get medical care, and it can get a home.

We are in Tampa. In our former house there was a large pond with a huge alligator. A momma feral pig brought her babies down to drink. She turned her back and the alligator grabbed one of the babies. The alligator had & was gone before the momma could get back to the water. It was over & done in a flash. I’m glad I was watching the piggies.

My muscovy's catch food too! We just had a new male show up this weekend! He's welcome to stay forever. His name is Newbie. Lol They also will eat the bread out of my fingers and the corn, or pretty much anything right out of my hand. They go right up under my feet, waiting for food. Lol They have so much personality! I just love them!

Outdoor cats when injured in a fight will find a place to hide out where they can feel safe and recover .i found a cat living in my boat he had been in a fight and was in bad shape i got him inside and cleaned his wounds patched him up fed him and after a couple days he was up and exploring my house i open the door for him to go back outside and he sat in the opening and looked at me then walked over and rubbed up against my leg like cant i stay so i closed the door sat down and he jumped up in my lap for the first time and let me pet him he was a great cat at a time just after my gf had passed away
