I think that money should’ve went to the plaintiff who has actually proven that her education is important. The defendant seemed like she was just telling him an excuse when In actuality she probably doesn’t even WANT to go back and using what she owes as an excuse. That $800 may clear her dues but then she’ll just be debt free and still running behind a no good man. 🤷🏿♀️

Stop complaining it isn't your money he doing a favor to get her back in the plaintiff is already on the right track and got her stuff together. Now if you want her to have some extra then open your pocket book and write a check to her school for her education. You can't judge his decisions on his money but you can judge the decision on your money.

Very nice of Judge Mathis to help the defendant with her student loan debt but it's a WASTE of time until she gets rid of that "no good boyfriend" and gets motivated herself. He can't support her because they're living with his sister anyway. She'll end up pregnant atleast once and then he'll leave her to move on to the next DUMMY. The defendant is letting a no good man ruin her life. Only way she will go back to school is if she gets rid of her boyfriend. I had a couple of friends not continue college because their gf wanted them to go clubbing and party pretty much everyday. At the end you can't blame the partner. You chose to live the life style they were living. When you should have went to school because that's what you wanted.

That’s because it’s about credits, not academic years. To be a college sophomore, you must have completed at least 30 credits but under 60. Full-time status is a minimum of 12 credits each semester; however, that may only amount to 24 credits at the end of the academic year. If you took classes that were remedial or under 100, those don’t count towards your degree credits, but they do count for financial aid purposes. If you repeat courses, that also affects degree progress. So it is possible to complete a year in college without reaching sophomore status, which can cause confusion or the hesitation she displayed.
