my mind immediately goes to Raid Shadow Legends when PvP is mentioned. Obviously SLA isn't turn based, but Raid has a cool concept with being able to set a defensive team and other players are able to attack your defending team to move up in ranks. We would probably need more hunters though since the teams are pretty much all going to be the same with how few hunters we have at the moment

@ honestly fair enough. I think a true PvP mode would be pretty hard at this point so a peudo PvP is probably the best option

Netmarble has already created some great PvP systems, such as in games like The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross. One system is where equipment doesn't matter, and the other where everything, including equipment, dupes etc., is important. Also, there have been leaks that Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross will have a collab with Solo Leveling. Based on Netmarble's history of doing crossovers between their games (like the 7DS x Street Fighter collab), it's likely that Solo Leveling will feature characters like Meliodas, Escanor, and others from 7DS as part of the event. :)

You could make a Zaff Reacts to react to anime / movies / SLA story mode during the slow periods. You could also make mini series like a newcomer's guide of what it's like to play SLA in 2025. I'm sure lots of new players are going to come in because of the Season 2 anime. We now know there's 3 more seasons schedule too.

To be honest, based on the pvp modes i've seen in other Gacha games, PVP = trash game cause it always ends on how whale u are. I hope we never have pvp honestly, but i get your point.

Just make a pvp based on skills simple. Everyone gets a A5 character to use. That way even f2p that don't have some characters can get to play with an A5 version. There is also pvp that separates you by TP so f2p will be against f2p and p2w against p2w
