So where I live there's a Maghreb part of town I often go to. Went into a minimart and said "Salam Alaikum" to the 2 guys behind the counter, one replied "Alaikum Salam" and asked "You speak arabic?" To which I replied "... no. I just like to use that greeting when I interact with people in these parts". He tough that was cool, and then they asked me "Do you know other words?" Sunwaker.. I liked the tempo modulation for that breakdown section. Was also thinking it should be 2 bars shorter, then maybe a 2 bar transition to help pivot into the new key for the last chorus. Personally, I felt the vocals would benefit from slightly less ‘grunge’ but overall a pretty good outing and next to the others, a masterpiece. good job.
