Slash came to do a solo show here in Curitiba, Brazil and my brother-in-law went to see him. He arrived at the concert venue early and stood in the parking lot, waiting. Suddenly, out of nowhere, security guards appeared and placed containment bars and a van parked with the back doors open. Then, Slash comes out of the concert hall and sits in the van. My brother-in-law and a few other people who were there went crazy and started calling him to take photos, and Slash ignored them all. He said that Slash even whistled while looking at his cell phone, making it clear that he really wanted to ignore it.

Dino Cazares is easily up there with someone like James Hetfield and Dimebag Darrell and is responsible for initiating a new musical wave, which has influenced metal music extraordinarily ever since.
