Slash came to do a solo show here in Curitiba, Brazil and my brother-in-law went to see him. He arrived at the concert venue early and stood in the parking lot, waiting. Suddenly, out of nowhere, security guards appeared and placed containment bars and a van parked with the back doors open. Then, Slash comes out of the concert hall and sits in the van. My brother-in-law and a few other people who were there went crazy and started calling him to take photos, and Slash ignored them all. He said that Slash even whistled while looking at his cell phone, making it clear that he really wanted to ignore it.

Sevenstring, JP forums, Wired Guitarist and Modern Guitarist etc. and was the reason why I got enough modeling units in the first place. He definitely deserves some props for that. I went to the "Generation Axe" tour whenever that was 7-8 years ago. It was Tosin, Nuno Bettencourt, Zack Wylde, Steve Vai and Yngwie. They (all 5 of them) started the show doing a 20 minute rendition of Focus "Hocus Pocus" Yngwie kept leaving the stage after each of his solos like he was too good to play rhythm for someone else. Then they all played their individual sets, which were great, until the headliner Yngwie. He spent most of his set yelling at his guitar tech while the band played. I didn't stay to the end of his set.

God tier at Popeyes is also the Blackened chicken strips. Still deep fried, but dipped in Cajun seasonings with no breading. You have to wait for them because without the breading they dry out if they sit around, so they have to make them fresh.

I know you don’t really like rock too much before the 80s but I think it would be really interesting if you’d give your honest take on some of the older guys like Lou Reed or even George Harrison Even if your takes are negative I think it would be interesting!

Tremonti is 100% a guitar god by 90's standards. Nowadays there are so many insane guitarrists and musicians that it's kinda hard to compete. But he's great at making cool and classy guitar parts. I'd say in the top 100 guitarrists of all time for sure 😎🤘

Lindsey Jordan (snail mail) is my fav guitar player ever. She isn’t technical at all but she has so much feel it’s insane also she is just an insane song writer. She is also an amazing human just don’t allow her to drink alcohol or she may rant about stuff no one cares about. I remember seeing an interview with James H and he was saying how all his friends play guitar while holding the pick with two fingers and he holds the pick with 3 maybe that’s what makes him so good idk

You keep bringing up your barbeque party but I gotta know, what would the guests eat. What’s on the menu? Steak? Ribs? Sausages? Sauces? Sides? Is there dessert? Would the guest even wanna come?

Hetfield did play some amazing riffs. However, they did record the track Master of Puppets at a slower speed so they could get it tighter
