I also forgot to mention- I was notified on 26th of the month that I need to be out by end of month (while I’m in Germany) Getting out was impossible so it was a sure but shady way for a landlord to keep my security deposit. Wish I could man but with the cost of everything rising it's not possible and we wouldn't be able to sell to shops or distributors. There's a lot more that goes into a business than just the cost of goods, for example- rent, media production, marketing, web services, supplies, subscriptions the list goes on.

@@BillyPerry It's too bad more people don't realize the costs associated with running a business. We have had customers come into our store figuring we should just give them bike parts free or sell at half price or less. Even had one try to tell us in front of other customers that we charge too much because we get all our products free.... I wish it was free! We already try to keep our prices the lowest in Canada but its not enough for some. There is very little margin / profit in bmx as it is, especially these last couple years... Good luck with your new location and with the news you have yet to break regarding where you land in the future.

@@cjwood2407as an insider of MDVL Bikes, we face that same issue. We want to get products into the most hands, but at the same time we want to produce quality and that cost. Between trying to manufacture parts, sell to shops and individuals, maintaining soft goods and a team full of riders ONTOP of trying to sponsor events to get our name out there. Pricing has to be where it is. And that’s not even mentioning what @billyperry stated, but the cost of things, Inflation wise. We just can’t cut corners and give parts out or sell cheaper

For chillin and walking around- Downtown, East village, LES, Williamsburg, Domino Park, all the piers/west side highway path on nice day or sunset time. Food def gotta try Joe's Pizza, Scars maybe, Chinatown, Little Italy. Shopping in Soho. If you got your BMX bike its a total different story but if you don't have a bike rent a Citi bike and cruise around everywhere to get the feel for all the neighborhoods. Ride over Williamsburg bridge, through central park, Times Square its all cool and different.
