My oil light is on solid. Oil is full. Car runs fine. No engine codes. Head gasket is blown but don’t know why that would cause the oil Pressure light to come oil. No signs of coolant in the oil.

Sir can i use 5w40 diesel engine oil instead of 15w40 ? The 15w40 is mineral and the 5w40 is a fully synthetic.. please tell me sir..love from India

My oil light has been coming on at idle only and as soon as rpms go above 1 the light goes out. Car has been handling perfect, no sounds or ticks. No hesitations, oil level is right at max so does anyone know what could be causing it to come on and off?
