On tvtropes, the trope for a group or team filled with evil counterparts for our group of protagonists is called "Psycho Rangers", named after the Power Rangers villains. It's my favorite trope because when given proper build up it means that everyone in the cast gets a proper fight. Blackbeard's crew is actually cited as a potential example on the site because of the build up for them.

Obviously the sea, or going out to sea, is meant to represent freedom and a chance for a new life and adventure, but I do think the sea level rising and overtaking the world can also be representative of societal collapse. Literally, in this case, as the world is literally collapsing back into the ocean. I mean, it would make sense of Im is the one intentionally trying to raise the sea levels/lower the islands, as Im's rule over the world is doing the same thing on a social level, slowly sinking the world away.

I think that ties together fairly well with the sea representing rugged dangerous freedom you willing choose to go to by leaving land. Removing all land removes that choice from you making the danger only the daring and mighty seek out the new norm.

Okay guys since i didnt hear any in-depth predictions or wants for Elabf, i wanna share my stupid ass Usopp upgrade theory (its wrong and head canon but fun maybe??) It’s massive speculation and entirely based on tying Usopp to Noland and Giant culture. Elbaf: i imagine a situation will occur where Usopp has to battle Prince Loki (due to Loki usually being a god of trickery) that is either a contest or some sort of “fraud-off” liar contest like Liar’s Dice. This is consistent with a few stories in Norse mythology about Utgard-Loki and Loki involving contests of trickery. I also would like a scenario where Usopp has to lead the SHs, maybe Luffy is too tuckered out from gorosei? For defeating Loki, Usopp will be gifted a Devil Fruit, (a fruit that grew on the giant tree we see in Elbaf maybe?) And i also suspect we will learn this Tree was saved/cured by Noland the Botanist, known as the Liar now. Usopp’s Pop Greens, thanks to the Elbafian soil, will all grow into giant versions, essentially multiplying their power, as these pop greens would act as a merger of Elbafian and Skypean culture. The Devil Fruit in my opinion is related to Norse Mythology AND Noland: the Hebi Hebi no Mi Model: Sky Serpent (like Nola and Kashi from Skypea, and an allusion to Jormangandr) And Usopp’s Kabuto has already been shown to eat things. So why not a serpent fruit? Also, to further this home, this Giant Snake could act like the Snakes from Amazon Lily (if Egghead is Saboady then Elbaf could be similar to Amazon Lily, ie a land of insular culture) so possibly Usopp could form the snake into other weapons, like a staff a bow or…A GIANT HAMMER??? Heres two that Ive heard: • People treating "[X] fruit's awakening is to turn the environment into [Y]" as a rule for all paramecias • People who hype up logia awakenings, but also think that the main part of the awakening is *solely* to change an island's climate, instead of it being a side-effect. Like the ones who were hyping up Kizaru to use his awakening even though, by their own theories, that would just be "oooo Egghead is now sunny forever… Take that"

People are to quickly to make new theories just because of recent information. Back in the Stussy reveals days, everyone was a clone. In the Kuma flashback, everyone was a buccaner, and now, everyone knows about the flood, etc. I guess about Noah is more about the sea kings lines, that they need to get the ship rebuilt but it dont appear to refer to the fishmen themselves. The Kozuki however is nonsense since yes, they made stone, not wood. If someone made the ship outside the merfolk/fishmen themselves, it would be the giant of Elbaf since it makes sense for them to built massive ships.

Funny thing is, a month later we still don't know for sure if what destroyed Lulushia was Uranos or not. It seems to me the implications is that it IS Uranos, but it's possible it's something on the level of the 3 ancient weapons that just lacked a power source, afterall it SEEMS LIKE Pluton could be activated when Momo wants it to be. So it's either Uranos that lost its power source or something on its level that didn't have one or had a worse source that needed a lot of time to charge or something

I think the personal hate theory for Akainu comes from the fact that he knew Luffy was Dragon's son before of Sengoku's annoucement, and then we never see the other admirals reaction besides snide comments, so we never have confirmation that they all know or just Akainu knew. But I think is pretty obvious that the three knew before the war.

About Uranus. My thinking is that if the 20 nations had the power to built their own ancient weapon, why they needed Vegapunk to even have a glimpse of ancient technology? The World Goverment dont appear to have the technology to do incredible stuff, if they had it, why the did not continued to create new stuff as time went on? it really appears that they just stole one of the weapons, and used it to destroy their enemies until the weapon run out of energy, and in the abscence of it they just hid it always until now where Vegapunk can replicate it. About the Red Line, i dont know why people are fascinated by the idea that the red line is artificial, this is why people like Morj came up with weird theories about it. With exception of reversal mountain and the hole where fishmen island is located, all of the red line could easily be natural and have existed for millions of years.

@@Sup-ng7un that’s actually a very good example. Kumadori is trying to kill himself he says the iron body is a reflex he can’t control. And similarly when Kaido jumped off the island we were told his hobby is attempting suicide, the actual narrator is telling us Kaido is trying to end his life.

I don’t know what you mean by “seriously”? But I do think it’s fair to say Kaido puts himself in life threatening situations like that casually, as if the potential of death is a bit of spice in his life not a genuinely desperate attempt to stop breathing. If that’s what you mean then sure…? It’s like drawing as a hobby vs being a professional artist. Although he is a depressed drunk.

I don't know if this counts as a bad opinion. But in relation to the straw hats getting haki waa waa babies. I'd be pretty disappointed if all the straw hats with devil fruits don't awaken before the end of the series

I think a lot of people are confused about the whole hierarchy/first mate thing. A lot of people seem to think that the strawhats dont have a hierarchy which is simply incorrect. They HAVE a captain/leader. That is a hierarchy. He's on top and he commands the crew. But that DOESN'T mean that the strawhats aren't gonna treat each other like family despite that. Even militaries that have rigid hierarchies do not treat rank as if it's the only thing that matters when they're all just hanging out together. You even see ranks/hierarchy among various pirates like the Whitebeard Pirates or Red-Haired Pirates but they all just treat each other like brothers/family when just hanging out. Thats how real Pirate crews tended to operate. The captain title from my understanding was only really relevant when something serious came up. Ranks exist but just because they aren't treated as the only thing that matters doesn't mean there are no ranks at all. It's just with the strawhats theres layers to their dynamic beyond that.

Yeah the point with no first mate is that Luffy as the captain and leader won’t rank the rest of his crew. Imagine a crew where Zoro officially outranks Sanji, that fight would never end.

That’s why I think it’s pretty interesting Luffy and the strawhats have never called anyone on the crew by that role. The only time a strawhat has ever said who the vice captain is, was when Usopp said he was to himself in alabasta.
