I do love everyone pointing out about the drop curb, it's very true yet if you just have a look online you'd find that when them homes was built there was at every drive way. Bout 10 years ago tho Road work was carried out pathways lights everything and what would you know they was taken away from every drive way and people was told now they would have to pay even tho what was done is illegal, but I guess when the government does things its not illegal. Remember how learn to code was offensive, well learn to Google must be like getting kicked in the balls over and over. Shouldn't park in any spot if it's obvious that vehicle access is needed. Yes, if a drop kerb is installed then there's less of an excuse. Mind you the guy could clearly tell he had dropped a clanger by covering over the lettering (which obscured his view for driving and could get him prosecuted). If he had put as much effort into finding a better spot as he did covering over the 'Alan Partridge Is A Knob' lettering then he probably have found his cat unstickered on his return. And he knew he had upset a resident as he kept looking up and looking shifty.

A very sensible response. My 2 pence worth is quite simply... ohh look free space to park, but hold on. Looks like that van needs access in and out, I'll find somewhere else. Unfortunately. For Nice Loki that replied and his reply has gone. It is a road traffic offence to park facing the direction of oncoming traffic at night, you have to park in the direction of travel at night. It is rarely used these days, but I have known a few to be hit with fines. I can’t remember how much the fine that the Old Bill hit you with.

The solar panels on top of the van suggest that it’s a recreational vehicle. I’d probably have cameras pointed at my possessions too. Especially in Londonistan.

He forgot to shove a spud up the exhaust pipe, or add the condom over the exhaust to mask the spud problem. For those of you unaware, if you shove the spud into the muffler, heat & pressure will force it 'outwards', blocking the muffler exit & eventually the car will just stop dead. After stopping, the spud rolls back into the muffler, so the car can start again, only for the spud to be forced back by pressure again. It's a well-known trick, hence the condom over the exhaust to deflect any casual or uninformed investigation. Don;t ask me about the best party trick ever .....

Dropped curb rule doesn't exist, you can park where you like on a public road provided you are permitted by the signage and there aren't restrictions. You can literally park on someone drive if you like and that's classed as trespass which is a civil matter, not criminal. Your rights as a property owner end at the boundary of,,,,, and you're not going to believe this,,,,, your property.
