For Idols, being Bermard’s as the most lacking is definitely something I can agree with, but to be honest, the background having the reference definitely covers up for that, as that’s what makes this part iconic, aside from it being larger than entirety of Antarctica. I had the issue with this part when IDOL19 was in the works, and this parts vibe was definitely hard to work with as the part itself is background carried. But I still feel as if the original part had some iconic and charming feels to it, that basically symbolizes Idols.

Evasium’s part in SubSonic is actually one of the best parts in the level gameplay wise, it’s a shame that its deco isn’t very good

It’s the same in HyperSonic. It looks awful but compared to the buggy incoherent, unbalanced, and overall failure of gameplay before it (Except Zenthic’s part IMO lol), it feels like a masterpiece.

i just beat casino blitz and i can say that the casino dimension part isn't that good. the background doesn't fit with the rest of the level, as it mostly contains parallaxes of the casino or some other related environment, but this is a massive roulette spiral thing, however that's not my problem with it. the issue is that the camera moves too much to see what you're doing. sure there's jump indicators, but that doesn't really help. in addition, the gameplay is pretty boring, just being a couple clicks here and there, and the transition out of it is too long, being like 10 seconds where you just aren't allowed to play the game, as if the builders just gave up on building the part and decided to end it there. finally, i know this isn't the part itself's fault, but i constantly died right after the transition because i forget that the mini wave starts off upside down before immediately flipping you and you aren't supposed to click for a bit.

Probably a controversial opinion, but all of KrmaL’s collab parts (except LIMBO) fall into this video. I don’t know if it’s part of his persona of being a unique different character, but he cannot make coherent collab parts if his life depended on it. All of his deco parts are a clustertruck of incoherent effects that have no synergy with adjacent creators. Every time I watch a playthrough of Valor, Cosmic Calamity, Instinct, or Digital Descent, I am flashbanged by an incoherent mess that only stands to stand out from the rest of the level. I remember 7 years ago when I watched Cosmic Calamity for the first time and was viciously attacked by an effect part created by a toddler on an acid trip. I cannot express the shock and disbelief I felt when I learned that it was Krazyman50’s part. I am still in disbelief whenever I rewatch it. I hope Robtop never releases an official collaboration editor/functionality in the editor so that KrmaL can never use it.

For Astral Divinity I do not agree. Some parts are really lacking quality and coherence (the ball part with eyes and teeths ?, the wheel straight fly that is kinda empty), while the old part was good, that Persona part is great and no the amount of details in the last part is sufficient, putting more details to this ending would be an error making it too dense for no reason.

I’m gonna go through some of my favorite levels that have significantly worse parts. In my opinion these levels are masterpieces, but there is still one part that seriously drags the overall enjoyment down a lot. I’ll talk more about gameplay here, since that’s what matters more to me. Brutal Calamity (Robot Part - 76%) This level is overall really fun, and this Robot part wouldn’t be an exception, except at least when I was playing it, some stray projectiles would regularly hit me with no way to avoid it. It’s obviously an unintentional bug but an RNG element at the end of a four minute level is fucking brutal. Biru (Ship & Wave - 87%) This part has a few annoying parts that otherwise wouldn’t be a problem, but is magnified significantly by being at the end of a nearly six minute level. In the ship part, cogs move in from offscreen, which is more memory based than anything else in the level. The wave part features a randomized code that you enter by collecting skulls. Memorizing the code isn’t the hard part. The annoying part is collecting the skulls since it’s a fast wave and really difficult to control. Ring Trick (Wave - 81%) The gimmick of this part is that the structures are all circles, since it’s a nine circles level. The issue is that the hitboxes aren’t very clear, making every death feel like not your fault. Also, the gameplay here is way spammier and less fun than the rest of the level. KINGSLAYER (Ship at 56% & Waves at 82% & 90%) These parts aren’t bad in isolation, but they’re so much harder than the rest of the level. I found these parts harder than Bloodbath, when the rest of the level was high end Insane Demon at most. Shitty balancing like this tanked my enjoyment from a 10/10 to a 7/10. The Sulphur Sea (Bossfight at 88%) This level is heavily based on the Terraria Calamity Mod (Like Brutal Calamity lol), and it takes a bunch of elements straight from the game. This includes projectiles that explode into several fast moving tiny projectiles. In a completely randomized bossfight, these tiny projectiles are impossible to focus on, and will just kill you randomly at the very end of a decently hard extreme demon. At the very end of the bossfight, there are similar projectiles that explode into small shards. I’m sure it plays fine in Terraria, but in Geometry Dash it just doubles the size of the obstacle, turning it into a super fixed hitbox, which is straight up terrible.

I disagree with the astrisl divinity part being bad. I feel that it is similar to vipeins ball parts in any of the sonic levels, it makes the level stand out more. Its actually the first part i think of when someone mentions astrial divinity, otherwise i think the level would be less memorable in some ways.

Ok so a bit of explanation, the reason on why voxicat (and knobbelboy) was there was to indicate that he has the "good" part. The "bad" part of the thumbnail is the middle part which is why it looks unfinsihed because its essentially a doodle. I think i shouldve indicate it better.
