It has some genuinely useful niches, but you have to get it to level 5 and honestly, by then, you've dealt with Octipus Zombies and beaten Big wave Beach and Modern Day. Still it does prevent you from deadlocking which is more than Intenstive Carrot can say and I REALLY wish Perfume shroom would summon a dino in levels where there are none.

I'd bump Solar tomato up a few ranks. Especially since we're talking about PVZ2 here. Zombie spam is REALLY common in this game and getting Solar Tomato to hit more than 5 zombies is pretty easy, but where solar tomato truly shines are last stand levels, literally jjst kill the first zombie then like 20 zombies will spawn next, letting solar tomato immediately give you a HUGE stack of sun for you to do whatever you want with it. I will admit that it took me a LONG while to see his true power. I could even say it even outclasses plants like gold bloom or since it's recharge rate is decent too, having 25 seconds recharge, compared to gold blooms god awful 75 second recharge.

Potato mine has the ultimate niche of being a great first round staller. Literally people buy the rake in PVZ1 for that purpose and since PVZ2 doesn't have a rake, you just place a potatomine and have twice as much time to set up sunflowers. It's still a very valid strat if you don't have Gold Bloom. I'd say B is fair if you're using it right. C at the lowest.

@@DJ_Wolfy5 Ghost pepper really earns it's high ranking from it's invulnerability to Zombies attacks. Very few zombies can destroy her, even Gargs, so she's literally free damage. AND if you time it right, you can shovel her just after she explodes to get some sun back. Though that's an exploit, it's still part of her kit. Definitely worth keeping in mind when you do your semi-instas list. Also you're right about sleeping on Hurrikale... XD Hurrikale CARRIED when it first was released long ago. I mean CARRIED like no one's business. Back then you didn't have plants that could blow back or stall without plantfood, so if it was 2010 PVZ2 era... hurrikale is easy S+ tier. It just got power crept by better options but it's placement at top of A is still totally valid.

Primal potato is the most absurd plant PERIOD. Strictly better than most other planets, is FREE, and the only weakness is it costs 50 sun instead of 25.... and I thought Sun Shroom was over buffed. Heck Primal arms itself so quickly, if a zombie is a tile away, it'll get up before it gets eaten anyway, AND it does more damage than Cherry bomb at the same level. XD What is balance? (need I remind everyone it's FREE? meaning you can FARM IT?) Primal Potato mine gets it's own tier just like Gold Bloom back when that one TOO was free! XD (though at least you can't farm seeds for it, but gosh you don't need to)
