Greg and Brett are the best thing that ever happened to punk rock .. they are the smarter and more poetic punks of all times

10 years later, you'd be happy to know that I saw them last month and they played Suffer live. Not just the song, but the entire album, front to back. I would have probably traded my last five years of shows if somebody told me prior that they were playing it straight through. Luckily I didn't have to do that.

In the 80's I think punk kids were more in tune with social and political issues. The kids today, namely the emo kids (which I guess passes for punk now) are more concerned about their poor little broken hearts! My girlfriend left me! It's the end of the world! They should pick up a book that wasn't written by J.K. Rowling!

Emo kids lol. I remember when those existed. Wow, that sub genre died pretty damn fast didn't it?

I love this song soo much. Well the entire Suffer album really. They played every song on this video/dvd except for Part IV, if I remember correctly.

@Yesterdayss To be honest I think his voice has gotten much better since the late 80s. They never cease to amaze me....30 years on and still improving!

Greg Graffin is the literal definition of punk. Completely doing what hr wants and being who he wants without a fucking care what anyone says. .....he brings an intelligence that is Completely lacking nowadays

I didn't see any logo on the drum kit at all, only a white ring border. One thing is clear, though: Brett and Jay switch between rhythm and bass. I've been noticing on videos and live throughout the decades they have taken turns. Is Jay still a regular member of the group, though, or just a once-in-a-while guest or done permanently or what? I'm not clear on their current membership.
