Pad broken on USB flash drive connector. Requires steady hand and proper tools to see solder a wire to the correct trace to retrieve data from the memory stick. No mechanical hands, microscope, or magnafineglass to help see the very small trace wire coming from flash drive chip. Using an old USB wire, striped to the the core, and poorly tinned solder tip and limited flux, a quick job turns into a painful event. Ultimately the job was complete but at what cost? Here is what a poor soldering job looks like, one can learn, maybe, by not doing what is done here.
