3:31 if a tutor is green and puts it on the battlefield, counter the tutor. If the tutor doesn't show the card, possibly counter the tutor. Otherwise, hold up the counter for the card they find.

I understand your reasonings here, and your points are valid. However...that specific person got rid of my thing and I'm out for revenge. Doesn't matter if it's the wrong play. And lets be honest, a lot of commander comes to the politics and non-optimal plays. An eye for an eye.

Totally get it! There are so many factors that go into deciding a target besides just threat assessment and plus when playing with friends, it’s just a good time to target someone for no particular reason other than it’s funny😅

@@TableSaltMTG I'm vengeful because it's funny I've played plenty of drafts and modern to be able to asses threats. But commander ia about fun and teaching people not to mess with you!

Question for Kenny, what do you think the number one lesson you’ve learned from RCQ’s is?

5/7 of my decks are some type of control. My threat assessment is immaculate but oh man are new players horrible at it.

My playgroup has an interesting perspective on threat assessment. One guy constantly argues he isn't the threat and then proceeds to almost win. We discuss ideas as a whole afterwards but he doesn't see it from outside of his own perspective.
