u2's audience now seems to be a sea of grey hair & sensible eye-glasses! Personally speaking, the "All come to look for Americ-a" thing's kinda played out for me in the 80's, Europe is culturally deeper & more interesting generally, but I guess what u2 are looking for is $, & the U$A is still paying off pretty well for them, hence their reciprocal interest abides.

Well, ok. But. Nobody's getting any younger. I loved u2 in my 20s and I'm now 45. It's called life. I would say forget the sour grapes and enjoy the music. And if they quoted a bit of Simon and Garfunkel , who are even older than me, so what of it?
