I think blinkers are optional extras in some cars like Audi's, BMW's & Mercedes. Makes them lighter so they can go faster so I'm told.

Yellow box junctions should have an automatic thing, so that if you're in the yellow box junction, your engine automatically switches off, your door opens, and a robot throws you out of the car, and destroys your license.

7:25 If you don't know where you are going approaching a roundabout then the right hand lane is best choice as you may exit on any exit by recirculating the roundabout if a left turn is needed. If you choose the left hand lane you have limited your exit choice.

I went to a non NHS health centre yesterday for a scan and we drove there, no queues, plenty of free parking, lovely clean new buildings, happy staff, and I was seen exactly on time. They contract to the NHS but what a different experience from my last scan at the NHS place, 20 minute queue to get in the hospital entrance, traffic backed up at least 2 miles, no parking spaces, about £12 parking charge, 2 hours late seeing me, miserable unhappy staff and a deaf non English speaking receptionist (I kid you not) who I had to finally show her my appointment on my phone cos she couldn't, or wouldn't, understand what I was saying. The scan fella told me they're under so much pressure nowadays it's impossible to provide a decent service at many hospitals which is such a shame for our NHS and it's staff😒😒

As to the Mad Mile length, Google maps says from Belmont Rise roundabout to the A2022 Belmont Crossroads(which I presume is the length we are talking about here) is 4700 feet, so yeah, not quite a mile, but it is over a kilometre. Perhaps they can rename it "The Mad Kilometre"? But it just doesn't have that same alliteration, don't it? "The Killing Kilo?" maybe?

Speeding tickets in london are up by a whopping 700% since a lot was changed to 20. i understand outside a school or a very heavy area foot traffic but even on duel carriageways in the center london are 20 ive seen and that insane it makes it so easy to stroll over limit on such a road but that the aim make it easy to stroll over easy money for tickets so no wonder tickets up by 700% . my next car will have cruise control what can deal with 20 limits sit back let the car do the work then i can look at the roads a lot more than looking down to see if you at 20

The cyclist at 14:10 cycled off road onto a muddy verge next to what looks like a sharp drop, so you could get past. She should have kept on until the road widened or there was somewhere to pull over that was much safer than that.

@@thelondondashcam Yeah, the overhead does show it pretty cramped in there, Epsom must have grown so much as to not handle the traffic. Perhaps the two-way entrance should be change to a one-way at the north end (going out), and the south entrance one-way going in. Maybe it might help? Or they need to spend the money and build a parking garage instead.

@@thelondondashcam it would be too slippy on slick road bike tyres, plus the risk of picking up grit and getting a puncture. There are gravel strewn laybys that I'll happily pull over into on my town bike or mountain bike, but wouldn't dare on the road bike. Anyhow, you were stuck behind those two cyclists in the previous video for only 2-3 mins. I was stuck behind a tractor on my bicycle for 8 minutes yesterday. But that's nothing compared to the 25mins I was stuck behind a steam traction engine a few weeks ago.
