This part at that exo's song was another members part ( D.O.'s part) and D.O. made Baekhyun sing that part at last minute baekhyun was confused a little but still got it. Bcz they can bcz they have good vocals. It was sudden that is why it was ''decent''. I'm sorry but BTS members cannot easily belt those notes. Are you saying that they can't sing well because they are always caught off guard? Funny how you use other idols to defend your faves XD

I feel bad for groups under HYBE. You can tell Heeseung thinks it sounds bad by the head shake at the end, mans has perfect pitch, but HYBE never supplies vocal training to their companies. You can see it in almost all of their groups :(

I lowkey agree with you. Dude probably has the most refined technique in kpop, but his approach to his belts when singing pop/ballad has tension. I normally wouldn't mind it cause the tension isn't getting in his way so much like it does other singer, but more so the fact that it's a deliberate choice. He's mentioned it a few times in his ballad stuff, where he has a brand of having a sad voice, he internationally introduce tension and is less open so he can play around with dynamics (like he only opens up in extended phrase, but not during phrases). Compare it to his musical/theatre approach, or his approach to more upbeat song, his voice is so open in comparison. I guess it's a tradeoff he's willing to take cause ngl his dynamic play and control while he's doing the melancholic voice is legit beyond you would expect of any idol (Exhibit A: His covet of IU's Through the Night)

They all did the A sound vowel but why do I feel like the first one sounds like he was not singing it. The AAAA was so plain that it sound like he was just screaming rather than singing the note. Just open your mouth and say AAAA plainly and you will sound the same with the first one.

A4 has nothing to do with which vowel sound they are or aren't making, it's the precise note they're hitting, which could theoretically be hit while making any vowel sound. And belting properly has more to do with pulling the sound up from your chest/diaphragm, instead of your throat, and relaxing/opening your throat to let the sound pass through unhindered and without straining-it takes much more to have proper vocal technique aside from just opening your mouth, and your chances of physically injuring your vocal cords and such inside your body is much higher the more improper your vocal technique is.
