We were butchers, when we did corned beef or tongue it was a great big tin. We wrapped a tea towel round our hand to push to save getting cut, and on more than one occasion we had to push so hard we were known to say, the heads out, it was akin to giving birth!

The most authentic Chinese is the Mayflower Curry sauce. Make it with water 3 heaped spoons to a cup of water in a sauce pan-then just pour over fried chicken onions and a scattering of peas. Regarding supermarket ready meals, I’ve been buying mine from Aldi, fresh not frozen. The Chinese chicken curry with egg fried rice are quite nice and reasonably priced at £2.49. Me, Kev and Juno stayed in moffet, we were in the green frog campsite, well worth the money. We paid 12.oo for the night no electric, but had everything else. We even went for a bimble and found a nice chinese Mark would love, (not bad prices ) we have it on our video but we have not started a channel yet. It was a beautiful place. We do plan to go back we liked it that much. Hope you enjoy xx❤

Moffat has a caravan & camping club site, van parking at the Green Frog near that campsite and a 5 pitch CL nearby so parking on the high street isn't necessary.
