Check cylinder #4 fuel injector wires and connection. The fuel injector itself can also be shorted.

Hi, many thanks for your videos I have the same noise from my xc90 back but when I only touch the brake, the noise disappears. Please do you think it is related to rear differential or the wheel bearing? Many thanks

I have a humming noise that begins as soon as I start moving, at around 5mph, and it only gets louder as I go faster. As I slow down, the noise starts to quiet down and goes completely away when I stop. It's consistent while moving. Already replaced one wheel bearing, that didn't fix it. None of the wheels rock in and out or side to side when in the air.

Transmission problem maybe?

Get a mechanics stethescope and listen listen yo the bearings when car is in the air and wheels are turning.

My truck I just got only noticeably makes the noise when I let off the throttle or give it very little throttle any idea what it could be?

For a manual RWD car, assuming if the issue is the differential - Would it still make whirring/humming noise whilst coasting in neutral? Thanks in advance!

Right i have some noise coming from my diff in my 93 z28 6spd maro but i don’t have any holes in my diff nothing looks loose everything’s in place but when I drive it sounds like something is smacking my floor keep in mind it happened after I swung it 😂😂😂

I have rotational noise at right back. Present when car drives between 60 and 80km/hr and when NOT accelerating (feet off all pedals)

Hi, you are very graphic in explanation but yyou didn't speak anything about vibration. Bad rear bearings may cause vibrations ?

Correct it can cause vibration when it's beginning to fail

Mine does the opposite the noise is when decelerating or coasting and the noise stops instantly soon as I press the accelerator between 15 and 60 mph

Bad inner pinion bearing would be my guess.

I've got the exact same issue, the sound is loudest between 40 and 60 kmph and coasting, however stops when I put on the accelerator. Kind of a whirring, rotating noise.
