I know how you feel man. I lost my best friend to an OD almost 8 years ago. He and I were wicked close for 12 years. Some of my best memories are with him. I still miss him so much to this day. I keep a 3rd gen camaro hot wheels that looks exactly like his did when we met withina case with his picture in the case. It's in my car with a pin that says "never drive faster than guardian angel can fly." Goddamn I fcking miss him, and this song is perfect

I love every song.. but this is the BEST TO ME I've lived in depression, fear, suicidal thoughts , etc most of my life. Lost in the dark..feeling alone. But at 11 I was given the phrase "Be a spark" for those lost in the dark...And thats exactly what I've always tried to be. To be the person I've never had but needed. If you're lost in the dark...the tiniest of sparks can be so bright..This song reminds me of that..I feel like I have to walk in the dark so I can help those lost in it.
