I've seen a video on KZbin stating Shabani is the most handsome gorilla. No way. Momotaro and Gentaro are far more handsome. Gentaro is going to be the most gorgeous silverback. 😊

昨日のニュースに京都動物園が出てました。ゴリラかと思ってたらナマケモノとシマウマの紹介でした。もう一つはテナガザルだったかも。小学生も映ってて混んでるみたいでした。

Yes, in the afternoon three rooms are available. Once a gorilla is in a room, he or she is not seen. especially the two of them

There was a post dated 09/16/24 (fr another poster on the Momotaro troop), showing Kintaro play wrestling with Gentaro high up on the steel beams. Gentaro maybe had enough and bits Kintaro on the head. Kintaro appears angry and chases Gentaro back and forth across the beams...but it also seems like they are play/fighting like they use to. It was fun to watch them being playful.

How I wish you had discovered this family years ago! I missed so much! And I have fallen in love with all of them! Genki is always on her search for the snack! Kintaro and his little boy ways is always fun to watch! Gentaro is fast becoming a Silverback but it’s his cute little boy face that I find Adorable! And Momotaro is a handsome Silverback, I can see why Genki would like him! They are all perfect! I pray Gentaro will get an opportunity to have his own family. He deserves to. And to continue these good looking genes! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

My oh my, cute little chubby Gentaro with a blue bucket on his head has grown into a magnificent Silverback with an almost kingly (that probably isn't a real word) aura to his countenance! How handsome! And how quickly time goes by... What possible reason can the zoo have at this point for keeping him a captive wasting his glorious youth away, isolated from eligible female mates and peers to interact with and the opportunity to head his own family? 😢 It's just WRONG.

I dont believe they will ever play together. Gentaro is unhappy being a silverback with no females. Stuck here with a family who in the wild he would have left a couple years ago. Its unnatural to stay and he feels it every second of everyday. He is extremely frustrated. Imagine when you hit 18 if you were stuck at home, couldnt leave and had 0 exposure to the opposite sex. You would be quite unhappy.
