Sansa was a spoiled and uneducated teenager, she didn't understand anything, of course she was awful, but it was realistic. I really like Arya, but she is completly unrealistic. Children like Arya don't exist. They have different roles: Arya is the hero of our childhood dreams, we wanted to be like her, but Sansa is an everyday character, she is the reality.

I love the quiet resilience Sansa has. She is such a strong and unappreciated character. Her character development is tragic but it’s beautiful. She’s a classy badass. She’s ruthless, but smart. She’s honorable and fair. While others are loud with their opinions, she is observant, she thinks before taking action and that is what kept her alive throughout the series.

I’ve always thought of Sansa as the Cinderella character of got because she’s not a warrior, she’s not manipulative, cunning, tyrannical, or a negotiator not like the other characters, but she is a survivor she survived the Lannister’s in kings landing, she survived the Bolton’s in winter fell. She had been betrayed, raped, tortured and abused by so many people and yet she is still standing. Which is why I don’t understand why peoples think she is a weak character because she is not, strength isn’t always embodied in physicality or even intellectuals sometimes it is nothing more than faith, endurance, a will to survive.
@blizzard2175 жыл бұрын
But she is cunning, manipulative, negotiator, and strong willed. At this point in the series in Season 8 she is literally the smartest character left alive. She spent time with some of the cunning characters in the series Cersei, Tyrion, Little Finger, Margaery, Ramsay and as she says she is a slow learner, but she has learned. She's taken something from all of the people and has evolved and progressed past them. She's out maneuvered Littlefinger and Ramsay, and basically is the reason they are dead. When she interacted with Tyrion she told him "I used to think you were the smartest person I'd ever met" . She could predict Cersei when he couldn't. And even Arya says Sansa is the smartest person I've met when Jon questions whether Sansa knows best.

Even so, she lost her direwolf and was strong, she lost her father, got beat by Joffrey's knights and she held her head high, she has great emotional strength, which is vastly underrated by folks, it would be so easy to give up in her situation or say the wrong things in anger. It takes strength to do what she did, being a hostage. She only gained more knowledge and agency as the seasons passed which allowed her strength to take her further and provide justice and vengeance for her family. #SansaWasAlwaysStrong People are now just seeing it because it's really in your face now.

Lean P. Nope. Sakura didnt suffer what Sansa did. Sakura is just smart and she has worked hard. Sansa learnt for being tortured

Sansa is awesome tho

Sansa didn't learn from being torture, torture in a way, was her reward. Sansa learned from the best. First, Cersei, second, The Queen of Roses, Third, Tyrion, and from the best, Little Finger.

Lean P. I think being raped all the nigths is being tortured. I know she learnt from the best but she also learnt because she suffered first by Joffrey, then Cercei, then Lysa and then Ramsay

how did Cersei made her suffer in the serie tho?

Sansa is the best female character ever. She grow up from little bratt to a badass queen. She is smart and cunning, dangerous but fair and after everything she went throught she still manage to stay good and loyal (Not like Morgana for example).

I don't think Sansa was ever a "badass"... She was jealous of Daenerys, she was jealous of Jon Snow, she was jealous AND afraid of Arya. I see no badass-ness.

Her character development is symptomatic of the problem of season 8. So yes, it's cool to see her so badass and mysterious, to watch her successive revenges. Now there's such a violent disconnect with her old personality. Yes she has suffered and learned to suffer, but at what point do we really see her forming into the game of thrones? It would have been so much more satisfying to take care of her evolution and make it more gradual: see her fail, try her first real manipulations. All we get is some stylish one-liners and no arguments other than her authority as lady of Winterfell.

If I were Sansa lady or not I would have Arya and Brienne teach me some sword play. Never hurts to have that knowledge in Westeros.

correct me if i’m wrong but it looks like sansa doesn’t blink the entire time she speaks to ramsay. it’s like she doesn’t want to miss a second of his downfall.
