It's been awhile since I've posted a burn on here. Had the inspiration to go out and flow the other night, so here's a little bit of it. Poi are by Crispy Clowns.

I have been checking in on you Liz from time to time when I can or when I wish to see poetry in motion! Your progression has been beautiful to see the results of,but I know the work that went into spinning with such grace. It would seem to be and extension of you if I didn't know better. I never commented until now because,well,who am I too anyone in here but a name. However,watching this inspires me to spin more often. So thank you Liz,I would pay for lessons and or partner up in a heartbeat. Super-Flow Dancing Show: Starring Liz Knights! What a beauty to watch!

Truly mesmerizing! What a fantastic video, I couldn't take my eyes off you, it was seemless and you made it look so effortless. Love the music too which complimented your silky moves! I've already begun my poi journey so was looking for inspiration as I try to progress to fire poi and I've found it here...now subscribed! Any tips on how you get your poi burning for so long? Thank you for sharing :-)
@badassfirespinners2 жыл бұрын
Hi Lee. I'm so glad you found this video inspiring, and I wish you the best of luck on your poi journey. The length the poi burn is dependent largely on the size of the wick. These wicks are I think 3.25" in diameter. You can also extend the length of your burn by using different fuel. Adding lamp oil to white gas extends the burn time. Of course, please make sure you understand the risks and nature of each type of fuel before doing so!
@leewarsop74912 жыл бұрын
@@badassfirespinners Thank you for sharing, very useful to know for when I've finally nailed poi enough to progress to fire! Please keep posting tutorial videos as they are so helpful. I love your flows so any videos where you link several moves together would be awesome. Thank you :-)

Your stalls are wicked clean!!! Are fire poi traditionally heavier than regular contact poi? I’m drilling up stalls now and they look good but yours are so controlled!

Really depends on the poi. These fire poi feel pretty comparable to my contact poi.

@Mellow-mi4yn4 ай бұрын
Hi, I have maybe a dumb question, but I'm curious how you make sure your hair and clothes don't catch fire (esp your hair) Is it just that you trust your skills enough to not do it or is there something you do to prevent it?
