Dont know if you guys ever will but you should Watch Demon slayer, i say do the first episode see how it does and if it does well do the show. ITS SO GOOD and the graphics music and story is gripping. Plus, its not a long anime either. And the movies are necesity to the story. If you do watch The Mugen Train movie after the first episode of season 2, then the Movie, then continue thats the chronological order of the story, because the context of the first episode is a thankyou to the people who watched the movie but what happens in the episode is RIGHT before the movie starts.

I love this movie. I love that they finally gave Jeanine a proton pack. She has been with them since the beginning. She deserves it. She has never been a part of the action. Finally, Jeanine gets to be a part of the Ghostbusters' action. She is there but kind of as a background but important character. They gave Rick Moranis a pack. I'm so proud of Jeanine finally getting a pack.

@amaiyagrace3 ай бұрын
@toddjackson3136 Yes in the cartoons, but not in the live action movies. She is an important character in the movies for sure. But everyone else gets to do Ghostbusting in every movie, and she doesn't. She just sits off to the side, it seems like. I'm glad she finally gets to be a part of the team. I was so happy when they finally gave her a proton pack. She has been here for 4 movies. Just for exposition when she is a main character from the original Ghostbusters. She is their secretary. But now they finally give her a proton pack.

the biggest nostalgia, for me, is the fact that in the original ghostbusters movies, the plot was in New York City, and they brought it back to NYC. It was awesome because NY seemed like where all the end of the world plots took place in the Ghostbuster's universe. I just enjoyed all of them. ghostbusters 1 and 2, afterlife and frozen empire. loved your reactions, as always.

Like melody said, the key was a human voice. In controlling her spirit, he could link with the body and the body would speak the chant to unlock it. Melody didn't have a body, so he couldn't have used that no plot hole there.Just a little bit more paying attention required.

i think the third one should be ghostbusters hitting the home of the strange, the ghost realm where they trap the ghosts..... they enter the ghost dimension to battle a big evil in there to help the ghosts move on. Have a ghost escape the containment field (or a ghost become a ghostbuster (slimer?) or a ghostbuster die but stay a ghostbuster and check on the containment tank) and ask for their help, it seems sad that all those ghosts are trapped and cant go on to become the fabric of the universe...it was an epic lead in with phoebe being able to leave her body for 2 mins...expand on that - take it to that last boundary and cross it!
@FireFoxx00173 ай бұрын
The reason Garraka needed feeebie was bc the words needed to be spoken by something 100% onthe human plane like the record player ghosts are not 100% on our plane. While Ghost Feebie was being controlled so was her body and it was mimicking and saying the words ghost feebie was being made to say allowing Garraka to be freed.

I totally agree with you there Mason Quinn, I felt a bit cheated by the trailer too. It made out that they had to overcome the frozen city and that the world could end. It wasn't a big enough finish for me, just to kill off Garraka and that's it. I did kinda want more but its still a good film. Afterlife was better. Was lovely to see everyone from the originals, shame Louis Tully didn't make an appearance with Janine, just for a scene. I do love Phoebe, she's the best out of all the new characters. Podcast changed alot, just like Ned in Spiderman.

Ok, time for a really long comment, with all my thoughts on this movie. Overall I really liked it, I've been really enjoying this new generation, and I hope they keep the movies going as long as they can think of good stories. Now... Trailer, it was definitely misleading, making this look like a more action oriented movie rather than a character development movie, and it even has dialogue that's missing from the movie (mayor's office scene, and Janine never answers the phone in the actual movie). I remember seeing a video here talking about how trailers are often cut to be misleading these days, sometimes even using deleted scenes, and this movie was guilty of that. Bad thing here is the errors, like why is Ecto 1 overheating and having electrical problems? Last movie we were told she'd be fixed up properly, and clearly new tech has been added. Or why do proton packs destroy concrete (the building in the sewer dragon scene and the lion later on)? In the original shooting a maid's cart just torched a few rolls of toilet paper and burnt a wall. This movie is set around two years after the last one, how is the containment unit problem just being noticed now? Best thing about this movie is how the characters are used... Well, mostly, what was the point of having Podcast there? Smashing stuff like that is out of character for Ray, and Podcast really was never needed, they only brought him back because they brought everyone back. Outside of that, they do a great job, all the OG Ghostbusters feel right, they're old, they've changed, but they're still them. The new Ghostbusters feel like they're developing naturally, no copies of the originals here. Even the supporting characters are great, Peck being the mayor seems ridiculous and completely believable at the same time, you know everything you need to know about Patton Oswald's character, and having Nadeem in the fight at the end is brilliant. Really, I didn't realize until I was watching this reaction why he's there, and why it's so great. Think about it, the Ghostbusters start both for scientific reasons, and to protect people. The Firemaster of old was protecting people from spirits before the Ghostbusters were a thing, so you effectively have three generations of Ghostbusters fighting the big bad. Fun movie, really fun, can't wait to see what's next.

I agree with your assessment that Ghostbusters Afterlife was slightly better than Ghostbusters Frozen Empire. Oddly enough, the reason for me was that even though this one had a lot more of the original Ghostbusters cast in it for more of the movie, Ghostbusters Afterlife somehow felt more nostalgic? Plus it had actually all four of the original Ghostbusters in it because it had Egon. I understand they couldn't put him in this since he crossed over in the last one. How many times can I say Ghostbusters in one comment? Ghostbusters.

I wish we got to see the first time back in NYC. They put it in a comic series, and the videogame (Spirits Unleashed) 1000% ruined Garacka right before I saw the movie on release night. I have my critiques. But it was nice to be back home in the city. I was at Ghostbusters day and I posted on my page the concert from the Alessi Brothers.

It wasn’t terrible but clearly didn’t do well since it’s on streaming already. They tried to use nostalgia too much in areas. Also we don’t even really see the villain until the last 30 mins or so. Lots of filler that could have been stripped for more action.

I actually liked Afterlife better & so did my kids! We did see this in theater & I found myself getting bored cause I just wanted the big bad & remember it felt like forever waiting on it & then not enough of it.
