Actually, it was already established in season 01 that the Frontman had donated one of his kidneys to his younger brother. It was a plot that overlapped with the organs harvest one, when the cop found out that the harvesters were complaining that one body had only one kidney, and he freaked out thinking that they killed his brother. Jun-ho even said something like "You know why that body had only one kidney? Because the other one is in me!" and then the harvester soldier told him that the body belonged to a girl, not to a man.

38:50 It's been exactly 4 years. In the first season, it was june 2020 and the kid was 10. Now the season two is in the year 2024, so he is 14. From what I've read, he is played by the same actor, who was 10 before and is 14-15 now. I haven't seen my teenager cousin for one or two years and I wouldn't even greet him on the street now, because I wouldn't recognise him. He is 14 and he has changed incredibly. 😅

I want to also just put it out there for them, I hit my growth spurt in gr.7/8, so i was honestly in the bottom 40% of people in my class for height. I was short to medium height at best. And when i hit about 12ish years old, within 6 months I was 5'10-6'0. So from 10 years old to 13, i absolutely changed. I also have a friend who hit his growth spurt at 18. Everyone grows differently. With my experience it wasnt out of th eordinary for the 10 now 13-14 year old to be taller. He didnt even strike me as super tall. 5'3-5'5 at best which shouldnt be unreasonable for a male regardless of background.

Just in case you wonder why so many men were part of marines. In South Korea after men turn 18, they are drafted to serve the military for at least 2 years. So most young men go right after high school or sometime between collage years. For women, serving the military it’s voluntary only.

In season 1 when Gi-hun meets Sae-byeok's brother in the orphanage I remember he said something long the line of "you are the same age as my daughter", who had just turned 9 or 10 when he entered the games the very 1st time, if my memory is correct, which I'm not 100% confident it is lol. But if I'm right he would be round 12 to 13 "now" so I wasn't too shocked with the new actor. If anything the actor in season 1 looked a bit too young, but well, he came from North Korea and probably suffered from malnutrition before so it wouldn't be surprising if he was on the shorter side for his age...

The girl with the pink suit at the end has already have some money also her coworker mentioned to the boss in last 2years while she started working in the park she haven’t spoken much we also know that Gi-hun played games 3years ago which clearly indicates she was working already as pink suit there in season 1 where her triangle mask also shows clearly that she is not a new recruit to the game as triangle mask holds superior to circle mask indicating she has experience working in squid games also when Gi-hun leaving the broker same time she is climbing the steps gives a weird look at Gi-hun indicating she may recognize him from the games is my understanding. The kid is 10-year old her sister mentions to Gi-hun in last season before she dies now he should be 13-14year old in this season based on show's timeline

Gihun's daughter and Sae-byeok's brother were exactly the same age and they said they were 10 years old in the first season. The characters talk about that in episode 08. Now in season 2 they must be 13-14 years old. The director casted exactly the same child actors for both roles. Even though Gihun's daughter doesn't appear the voice sounded like hers. The kid playing Kang Cheol, Sae-byeok's brother, was born in 2010 so no, they didn't casted an eighteen-year-old for the role. 😅

Little inside on Thanos's character who you will meet in ep 3 but I'm so happy to see T.O.P , the actor's name who plays player 230 aka Thanos, again acting. T.O.P was in the OG boyband called bigbang (really succesful). He has always struggled with his mental health, has been diagnosed depression & anxiety disorder(lots to do with the fame he got since age 18) He has had many haters in the past but in 2017 he smoked a little weed with a friend bc he has high anxiety and the entirety of Korea started a hate train(very conservative country).Shortly after T.O.P tried to unalive himself was fortunately unsuccesful and was treated in the hospital but after that got even more heavily b*llied online again by the whole country(bc he is a big star over there) saying things like "he should've" or sending death threats or similar thing,the media came to the hospital with hundreds of camera's and started berating his mom while recording him was also forced to apologize publicly live for "stressing the fans" bc of his attempt. (how absurd right?).He completely left the industry (eventhough he has successfull music and acting awards) Korea treated him like dirt for smoking a little weed twice in his own home.Harming nobody. He left his whole life behind in Korea, didn't want anything to do with them anymore (rightfully so) after his suic*de attempt and moved to the US and has gotten way better mentally, started acting again and this role(thanos) is basically a dig at how Korea made him out to be, like the korean media made T.O.P out to be this evil,monster ruining wild on drugs when all he did was smoke a little weed in his own home 3 times bc his ex-girlfriend gave him that has help for his anxiety,so now he portrays this psycho character on drugs like how the media slanted his name as a dig to Korea in a very popular show. I'm sorry this has become a very long comment, thought it would be interesting for you guys to know the little inside to his character he plays, also just very happy to see him back acting his butt off and making music again(not released yet)(he is a real rapper irl) after all he has been through and deserves an apology and the best , Love that he's kinda of taking his revenge on his country.(+smoking&drinking alcohol is worse than weed but Korea don't mind those drunk criminals running around but make a witch hunt over some weed.
