@Photohog49 ай бұрын
Couple thoughts… 1. It’s interesting that it was only after they’d both given up that they found each other. Rick stopped trying to escape and had committed to Okafor’s plans. And Michonne was on her way back to Alexandria. 2. Michonne isn’t going to be able to just leave this place and go home knowing what they do…kill people. She’s not okay with that. This isn’t going to be as simple for her as Rick thinks. 2B. And I get why she didn’t tell Rick about RJ. If she had he’d be so distracted and hurt over not being there for them…even though that wasn’t his fault. And he’d be absolutely desperate to leave and might make mistakes…and she knows they need to be smart and careful. 3. Nat was an incredible resource. I can’t imagine the CRM didn’t grab his bag of tricks to investigate the weapons he used. 4. I’m confused on this long standing agreement Jadas spoke about. Was she referencing something from their past interaction on TWD or was she talking about an exchange since he’s been with this group? Because there didn’t seem to be any indication from Rick in this eppy or the first one that he even knew she was here and aware of him. 5. There’s no redeeming Jadas IMO. She’s changed sides so many times I’ve lost count. She’s betrayed Ric and Negan and who knows how many others. I don’t even think SHE knows what side she’s on anymore. And she delivered Rick to the CRM. She could’ve taken him back to his people….and didn’t. She’s been a thorn in his side for so long. It’s time to eliminate her. Sorry. 6. Speaking of thorns….Thorne is one as well. She’s drinking the CRM kool-aid and I don’t think she’s interested in giving up the fact that she’s surviving there. And she doesn’t want Rick hoping for a different life again. She may have to be dealt with too.

Agree with all you've said. As for Thorne, is she not a little Rosita ? I think she will go with them, I reckon Jadis won't get past episode 3 her threat to tell on Rick is empty. If she tells on him, she will be under the cosh herself as she's kept it from the CRM for 6 years.
@csi24489 ай бұрын
Just gonna touch on points 4&5. They should be explained in the next episode. Also, Rick knows she's there. Jadis isn't meant to be redeemed either. She's absolutely ruthless. She gave the CRM Rick, in exchange for her admittance. In her words, "I gave them someone valuable." She's been using that to help climb the ranks. And from what we've seen in World Beyond (especially the finale) she will do whatever it takes to continue to climb the ranks!

Last year I was working as a cab driver in Rahway, NJ and the scene where the chorine gas was dropped was pretty much my workplace. When you see the caravan driving under the train station overpass, that street is where we queued up until dispatch called us to pick up a ride. That day, they had us on the other side of the train station while they were filming. I remember the cars they used and I took pics of them sitting in a parking lot where they were keeping them when they shut down for the day. One of the buildings is a coffee house that they changed to a bar & grill called the Loyal Bowman!

Actually, we can’t really say that she hasn’t known them that long. This is the same stretch of time. As Rick’s. She was with them for a while, and it took a while. Such a good episode. Wow, the CRM just keep proving how much of monsters they are. Also, for claiming to be the last hope of humanity as Jadis said, they sure have no problem wiping out humanity en mass. Omaha and the Campus Colony combined were around 100,000 people. There’s 1000 walkers for every 1 human in that world. There’s not enough people around at this point to just be killing folks like that. If anything they’re doing a fine job at pushing humanity closer to extinction.
@AlejoConejo-vb8ln9 ай бұрын
It's more actually. Kirkman confirmed that by the time Rick wakes up from the coma, there are 5000 walkers for every human. And that number just keeps going up, that's why there's so many massive hordes later in the show.

I think a detail that The Appleton Oak missed is that Rick was gone for six years. Michonne wasn't. There was that six year time jump from the bridge to when we meet Judith again with Magna and crew. It wasn't long after that when Michonne left to go looking for Rick. It seems that from the time she helped Aiden and Andrew to when we meet Nat was only a few weeks maybe. So, even though Rick was gone for a long time, she seems to have found him rather quickly.

Personally i disagree just going off on-screen and fandom, Omaha had nearly twice the population of the Commonwealth however the city itself was much larger than that of the Commonwealth well over double in land area on top of the Campus Colony of nearly 10,000 people. Additionally Omaha was created from a pre-existing city (A likely place to scout/gather resources for the CRM also located along sizeable infrastructure) whereas, the commonwealth was created from united smaller towns (smaller buildings, less density and such).Or maybe the CRM does know about the Commonwealth. We'll just have to keep watching to see if any of this comes up.

She doesn’t care how hard it looks, how many people she’s up against; she’s never shied away from a fight. The pacing is great. Seasons 9-11 were insufferable because of the lack of quality story telling. 6 episodes of great writing is better than 20 episodes mediocre writing. I'm glad Rick and michonne reunited it was so good to see we've all been waiting for itl to happen but I just feel like they could have done it differently honestly where michonne sees rick from a distance or something then finds him and reunites with him rather than accidentally running into him without knowing that it was him in the helicopter

Apparently Scott Gimple never has any problems killing off characters, he loves keeping us on the edge of our sits. Everytime I start liking a character.....I think I better keep a box of tissues close by fir now on. I love this show💯.....now this is how TWD is supposed to be. I wonder what their deal was. That mall was the Eatontown Monmouth Mall here by me where I went to the filmings fir 3 weeks....they really did a beautiful job editing everything.

Why wouldn't Michonne just tell Rick about RJ?? More motivation to escape!

My question is, jadis knew about the CRM had a deal of sorts with them… why was she allowed to know about them and not be taken there given all these high security rules that’s the only part I’m confused about, I hope they explain that a little more
@adamturek2109 ай бұрын
Yeah they missed opportunity to show us when Rick wakes up from the bridge explosion to crm hostpial - it would be nice callback to season 1 and beginning of Rick's story.
@raycraig22319 ай бұрын
Maybe they may show it as a flashback in one of the upcoming episodes

Dang first two episodes and they're super emotional oh yeah and i wonder if The CRM somehow knows about the Savior war and The Whisperer war oh and the Commonwealth oh yeah and something really f***ed up i remember hearing about Chlorine Gas is that it's really easy to make especially by accident

Jadis must die!..or maybe she leaves with Michonne and Rick...who knows with this bunch...stay tuned!

Loved this episode but tbh I wished Nat would have lived. Dude was a really cool character, became an instant favorite and then he just gets killed off I was so upset. He would have been an amazing addition to the franchise and imagine him living and making it back to Alexandria. He would have completely built up that community to be a powerhouse and now he’s gone. They always kill the builders I’ve noticed. Imagine Noah, Eugene, and Nat all getting together and brainstorm the plans for defense and offense. Would have been elite. I would’ve watched a whole show with just them three had Nat and Noah lived

Yes they would've had shit together!!!
@SquidKingSalazar9 ай бұрын
@@DGsKattKatt fr, I doubt the CRM would fuck with those three making nukes and shit. Noah would have been the architect, Eugene the scientist, and Nat the engineer and together they would have made an impenetrable fortress with the firepower to back them up.

Great episode and reaction. Does anyone else think that Rick is minimizing his accent? I really noticed it in last week’s dream sequence and in this episode.

i did not expect to lose Nat nor Okafor last week. They are tied together forever due to that "dud"

I heard that Andrew Lincoln pushed to have his hand cut off in this series to stay with comics . Although it wasn’t from the governor, he still wanted it to happen. . So I’m curious , he does die in the comics- Do you guys think he will die in his last episode if we get a season two

I loved this episode but was so very sad to lose the new characters so soon, no one on Ricks side of things is likeable at all, I loved Nat, I was hoping he would make it back to Alexandria with them... well if they ever make it back :(

Good job, guys👍🏻. I’m guessing the new cast were killed to keep costs and story branching to a minimum. Hopefully they’re open to crossovers from other spinoffs or main series.
