Scott Cameron ok first of all you can't group all "rap" together do you mean soundcloud rap? trap rap? hardcore rap? r&b? lowfi rap??? classic rap? i grew up believing that rap was evil & horrible, even making a debate about it for a competition. it wasn't until i heard rap & r&b with jazz & alternative influences that i started getting into it. if you like this song you'll likely enjoy frank oceans solo, which is a more chilled out rap style. rap culture is very racist & sexist & is an extremist & false image (i later went on to write an IB essay about rap culture & how its affected by racism lol [character development!!!]) you may not like kanye west (idk why hes an actual genius) or whoever comes to mind, but rap & r&b (Black cultute in general) shapes our societys trends immensely & had been doing so since before the harlem renaissance. no wonder why kids are identifying with it, it's american music history to have black music & culture be gentrified
