Amazing , baby badgers, so cute, all hungry and enjoying their food, parent badger is so long in the body, such a rare opportunity to see close-up views. Thank you Nick Gomm and Badger Botherer

BadgerBotherer1 Thanks. I had great fun filming - just waiting for this year's cubs.

I'm waiting for my local ones, too. I went up to mid-Wales the other day, where I got some nice daylight footage of badgers and their cubs. Will upload it ASAP.

Love the sound they make when they're snaffling their food. 🦡❤️

Theres loads in the UK, the fields behind us i can hear them walking home from work sometimes at dusk, that noise is very distinctive.

" ...i can hear them walking home from work..." For a moment, i wondered what Badgers do for work before i realized what you meant.

I was surprised by many badgers. I used to like a rock band called Badger. You have subscribed to the channel. Looking from Tokyo!

When I was a kid they said farmers and hunter would put coke - those hard coal things used for fuel - in their boots so when badgers attacked they would think they already bit the bones. I think it was just a fairy tale but wouldn't want to get bitten by one in any case. It probably hurts a lot :D

Stunning footage. Was The camera hidden? How did they get close without being spooked?...

Thanks very much. My partner had been to the set a few times before and put some peanuts down for them and they just got used to us. I sat on a canvas stool and the camera (Sony HDR - FX1E) on a tripod in front of me. They came right up to my feet. They were easily spooked by horses 100 m away but didn't worry about us at all. I felt very privileged to be there.

I live in America and I really just want to move to Europe to see the badgers. Maybe as a vacation or visit, but I'd love to live in Europe.

There are plenty of badgers in the American continent, but they look like my profile picture instead of the elongated snouts these ones have.

I think those are different badgers. Meles Meles (European Badger) can be found in Europe and close to the the middle east. There are sub-species, some of which may inhabit North America, but definitely not these ones.
