“This has turned into a slight obsession I think” Has paintings of badgers, has a badger mug, spent 3 years building a habitat for badgers, watches badgers all day

Mobolite art and dedication is about obsession. It is a very good thing, in this case I wish I lived next door to him.
@mobolite2 жыл бұрын
@@carolinemacrae6227 I see your point, but argue that art and dedication aren’t synonymous with obsession. Obsession is a continual preoccupation, a priority. You can be dedicated to something or someone without revolving your life around it. As for art, most artists aren’t obsessed with what they create. I’m was just making a joke about his use of the adjective “slight” to describe his obsession :)
@carolinemacrae62272 жыл бұрын
@@mobolite slight obsession, yes not possible. Huge obsession, slight interest. I'm on autistic spectrum so I have to be obsessed in order to do anything. It could be a handicap or a gift. Sistine Chapel, is a good example of obsession.

It's a real eye-opener, isn't it? :) Enjoy. We feed the birds wild bird seed and the squirrels raw in-shell peanuts in the backyard all year long. Apparently, they've learned to keep an eye on our back door in the A.M. because even little sparrows will be waiting for us in the morning along with the blue jays, red cardinals and squirrels. We have a small Jack Russell terrier and it's quite a show while sitting on the patio during fair weather. The dog pretends to chase the squirrels and the squirrels pretend to run. :D

We have badgers visit every night. We put out peanuts or cat food for them. We watch them every night. Most often from our bedroom window. They are incredibly noisy when they eat. But oh so lovely. Last year mum bought her babies to our garden, they quickly began visiting us on their own. All of this is not unusual but I should mention we live in a city, fingers crossed my badgers stay safe.

We both were scared, because we surprised each other! :D We both were just minding our own business, and we both made some cracking sound on brushes.. It was me, who started backwarding, speaking slowly.. I was in its territory, so i go back..

My badger experiences include crawling inside badger setts as an abandoned and neglected and abused child to share the sett with the badgers to get out of the rain and petting the baby badgers, but having to try not to get scratched or bitten by the adult badgers. I saw these kinds of interesting badger behaviors you show here on video when living with badgers part time, once the moon was shining on them and they were awake. The rest of the time I lived with my abusive family. They sent vicious dogs after me to bite me and drag me by the leg out of my homes with the badgers. I think I was trying to get to Narnia and I asked the badgers if they knew the Narnian beavers. :) They never answered me but I thought they'd be friends. I also expected them to put on a waistcoat and serve me tea like Mr. Badger in The Wind In The Willows stop action animation and got really disappointed when each adult male badger I met didn't do that and become my daddy. So I told myself stories from Wind In The Willows until I fell asleep in the sett. This was in America in rural Idaho and these were American Badgers. I was 6 years old when I started seeking out friendships with badgers and using their setts as shelter. :) I also made friends with lots of other animals and took shelter with them too and shared their food. Now I have a degree in Wildlife Biology and I'm going to continue to try to find work that protects the Earth and the animals.
