The thing with GTA V for me is I've never once gone back and replayed it. I don't drive around aimlessly causing havoc like I have with every other GTA game. I don't know why its just never grabbed me like all the others have. Online I have 0 interest in where In Gta IV and its DLC I'd play online for hours and hours. San Andreas though is on a whole other level there's so much to do in that game its insane, I don't think they've ever matched a great story and great gameplay all in one since. Special mention to Vice City coz come on, ITS VICE CITY! Everyone has so much nostalgia for that game its insane. GTA 3 your story is exactly the same as mine, my first ever PC game, never did any missions because I was too stupid to figure out how to do it but boy do I know Portland like the back of my hand. GUNSGUNSGUNS and having shoot outs with cops on the L train station by the river.

My opinions on gta Gta3: honestly I grew up playing not long after its release on the ps2 before that I played it at my cousins house but didn't really appreciate it that much because I didn't know it had a story or even a character without a voice but once I got it I was completely blown away by how I love the game so much the story was short and felt like you stopped at nothing to get revenge on your girlfriend that betrayed you and now you work your way from a small time crook to a hitman working for different gangs i love the fact that they added missions for specific gang types the more you work for one gang its rival enemy will turn against you and can kill you in the most random times the side missions on the other hand was okay it felt like you do these jobs for money but you're way too limited on what to spend it on except maybe weapons, spraying your car to get rid of cops and that's pretty much it but in the end it changed the gta franchise forever even the music was fantastic. Gta vice city: vice city has the best atmosphere no doubt to that i loved everything about the game the 1980s miami theme, the music was amazing and it made me appreciate synth pop and pop rock genre and the fact that the story is amazing you're basically being a kingpin of vice city and Rockstar did an amazing job on it because they had alot of inspiration from the TV show miami vice and scarface I love the fact that you can change clothes and spend money on weapons, safe houses, properties and so much more like adding helicopters and one plane that can fly was also a nice addition better than the plane that can fly for a few seconds in gta3. In the end vice city made me imagine how miami in the 1980s looked like its still one of the best classic gta ever made Gta san andreas: probably one of the best gangster theme game i love this game so much from the day I got till now the story was amazing and so long it took me months to complete and I love the map layout of the game because it has three whole states in the game alongside countrysides and deserts its so huge that I felt like Rockstar wanted you to explore it and find out secrets I love the music as well generally alternative rock and classic rock as well as rap i love the fact that you can buy assets and houses and there's even a skill system which i love about it but there's also so many things to do if you don't feel like doing main missions and it makes san andreas the kingpin of all the gta titles Gta lcs: it was one of my first handheld console game which I didn't like at first because of the physics that wasn't that great after san andreas but over time I decided to give it a try and liked it the story was confusing and weak and it didn't really go anywhere even the main antagonist was weak and never heard of except maybe in two cutscenes i loved the city since it was the same as gta 3 but since it was in 1998 it felt like it was under construction I didn't really bother with it because It showed me what happened before claude made it to liberty city and one of the things I wished was the ability to recruit gang members and fly helicopters but the game will do anything to prevent you from getting them which is sad but I liked the aspect of the game having an Italian mafia theme since its dark and it fits well even the music was okay since I liked drum and bass music in the game Vice city stories: I hated this game at first on the ps2 generally because of one hard mission i couldn't complete and thought the game was too strict because it didn't have planes or helicopters or even boats or anything to do so I gave it away but 5 years later I got it again on psp and completed the mission on my first try and after that my opinion quickly changed i loved the theme of the game same as vice city especially the music and the characters and the story as well and one of the things I didn't know was that the game felt like a combination between san andreas and vice city because vcs had empire building and I loved it so much even though it was a pain in the butt to finish the game I will always have it in my heart. Gta chinatown wars: I'm not really a fan of top view games but chinatown wars made me appreciate the game itself from the storyline to the side missions to drug dealing and even the map since it's a small portion of gta 4 map and since the physics were unpredictable its still decent even on mobile. Gta4: I love the games storyline and the main character it felt like an actual movie I love the map since it reminds me of my hometown new York city the driving physics is alright but can be annoying at times its a must to use the breaks every few seconds before taking a turn but generally the game is fantastic Gta the lost and damned: although the story felt short as its a dlc part of gta 4 with the same map. It added new characters, missions, bikes, and theme I love the biker theme of the game and the activities because it made you feel like you're a member of the lost mc but it still felt dark like gta 3 because of the atmosphere in the end it's still an okay game Gta the ballad of gay tony: my favorite dlc from the lost and damned because it was bright and had alot of interesting and funny as well as amazing characters and it also had new weapons and cars as well the mayhem is also outstanding even with the new heli called the buzzard but there's also nightclubs in the game which I absolutely liked in the game because of the music and it made you wanna dance its still one of the best dlcs so far. Gta 5: this game is incredible because it made the most money out of any office opening or movie release the first time it came and the graphics and details were great even the story felt weird and funny I liked the three characters and their personalities, the map being los santos was small but in HD it was huge and had alot of things to do which is why I like it.

I'd have to say Vice City is my favourite. It's perfect, the atmosphere is amazing, the radio is spot on to the time period and the missions are amazing in length and gameplay. The voice lines are amazingly written and voiced and the whole game was so fun I 100% completed it and am getting ready to do it again! Just an all around amazing game that lands so well.

San Andreas holds a special place in my heart because it was one of the first games I ever played. It introduced me to heavy metal and classic rock. Simply fantastic game. So much customization in the game it's crazy. 4. GTA Liberty City Stories. Immorality is crazy in this. Pretty realistic for a Mafia game. 5. GTA Vice City Stories. Great atmosphere for Vice City in early 80s but the side missions nearly ruined it for me. Still what a fantastic game. Whoops, forget to add GTA IV. I tie GTA IV with VCS as I thought the gameplay was decent enough, the driving was bleh, the storyline was the best I ever played but there isn't too much to do in it. I could be a hypocrite cause I put LCS on third but I love that game too much lol.

My top 15; 1. GTA Vice City - Absolutely fantastic. The map, the music, the characters, the aesthetic. Outdated, yet phenomenal. 2. GTA San Andreas - Same as Vice City, but I just preferred Vice City more. San Andreas is probably the better game overall, but I have so much nostalgia for Vice City, I had to put Vice City above. 3. GTA TBoGT - Amazing, but short. Fantastic music, the 80s-esque clubbing, it's like Vice City but modern. 4. GTA 4 - A fantastic entry in the series. Has its flaws, sure. But had the most realistic and depressing story to ever come out of a GTA game, and I hope GTA 6 goes back to this. 5. GTA VCS - A strong successor to Vice City. The same pros I listed for Vice City, but just not as good. 6. GTA TLaD - A good DLC, but short and lacklusture. Shame what they did to Johnny in 5. 7. GTA LCS - Just an updated GTA 3. 8. GTA 3 - A fantastic game for the time, and has certainly done a lot of good for the gaming industry in general. It's just really, really outdated. 9. GTA CTW - Boring, but had some cool mechanics. Would've been better if it was a GTA4 DLC instead 10. GTA 5 - Very, very disappointing. Only upgraded a few features of 4, and downgraded the rest. The three player characters really hindered the writers abilities to give it a decent story. 11. GTA Advance - Decent. It did what it was supposed to be, a GTA game on the Gameboy Advance. 12. GTA 2 - A decent successor to the first GTA, but as the series progressed, better games came. 13. GTA 1 - The start of the entire franchise. 1) Gta sa - the gta game I growed up playing. Its by far the best gta game based on the content. Story feels a bit messy since its basically three stories in one glued together. Its the go to gta game when you just want to mess around. Gta sa is so ambitious that I cant help to love it alongside gta vice city. Those two games are on of my favourite video games alongside chicken invaders 2-5 2) Gta vice city - Absolute blast to complete. Best gta story, its simple and really effective and most importantly just fun. I love the soundtrack and the game is just the perfect length. This and gta 3 are the funniest gta games in my opinion. 3) Gta 3 - the high difficulty makes this game really satisfying. Its also really funny, the thing that keeps it from being my favourite is that its too outdated and doesnt stand the test of time in some moments. 4) Gta 5 - its high quality and fun. I don't like the lacking amount of rewards for side missions (I love the rewards from side missions in old gta games like ambulance giving you infinite sprint / more health). Other than that, its a good gta game although I hate gta online since I believe it ruined gta because its too silly, pay to win and it seems it stopped rockstar games from making singleplayer gta games and launching focus on multiplayer which I dont approve of. 5)Gta vcs - brings back the style of gta vc + phil collins. Lack of PC release (forcing me to use a emulator meaning that controls wont be great) and some particular obnoxious side missions are what keeping it from being higher. 6)Gta lcs - I do believe gta vcs improved upon it in many ways in particularly the story and unique features but gta lcs is still great and it doesnt have those helicopter side missions. 7) Gta 4 - I dont like gta 4. It almost fully removed arcade elements like earning rewards from side missions that help you. Completion rewards are almost nothing. The game just gives me an ugly feeling with the graphics and the slippery driving. I couldn't finish this game because it was too boring, I played it for an hour and I got bored. I ranked all the gta games I played.

I personally find tier lists better than linear ranking like this (if a franchise has 10 games and I love nine of them a lot, and hate one game, I can put multiple titles in highest tiers, where with this ranking a certain game will be at 9th spot despite me loving it, but people think I hate them just because they’re that low), but this format is probably better suited for your editing style which was great and it makes sense 👍🏻 I hope you’ll do this for other franchises too, as this style of videos suits your narrative and personality :)

Liked your thoughts! And I'm glad you put my favourite San Andreas on number 1. San Andreas for me is the only GTA game that I would ever play. Its vibe, characters, atmosphere (the PS2 one possible only by SkyGFX) & story just having the right mix of humour, seriousness, tragedy & ending makes it up for me. It was the first GTA I saw & nothing ever clicked me like that ever since. And your voice is very pleasant to listen to & makes me cheerful. top 10 1.SA-my fave of all time 2.IV and its dlc-2nd fave because of how realistic it is and the city feels alive and its physics, it might be controversial but i really love the driving in iv you need to git gud to get a hang of it and the story is god tier 3.VC-my first ps2 game 4.III-another one of my ps2 game 5.CTW-i talked shit about this before but when i played it 5 yrs agao i appreciated it truly an underrated game 6.LCS- my childhood game on my psp 7.VCS-same with lcs my childhood game 8.V-yes its lower i have mixed feelings about it i kinda not like the story and some of its mission the physics is kinda cartoony and a downgrade of iv but overall is still a solid game

My list isn't that big so for me its this way: 1. GTA SA , grew up with this game , played it so much and when I got introduced to SAMP that changed mea aswell cause I got to meet a lot of cool and amazing people! 2. GTA Vice City, the map , the music , the vibe it all clicked with this game , only thing is I didnt get to play it when I was a kid but only since 2018 and once I tried it I was hooked to it. 3. GTA 4 , Story wise feels like its the best one out there fantastic job in terms of that , other that I didnt have anyi issues with it , maybe a little with the sometimes dark atmosfere unlile VC and rest 4. GTA 5, I love that its playable on PC , optimized the most out of all but the story just didnt really click with me like other ones , It felt mostly like "you got a problem , go rob this" , "FIB need somethin, go rob this" etc. So yea thats my short list of GTA games I enjoyed , keep up the good work Badi!

For me, Liberty City Stories is the worst GTA game for a lot of reasons. First of all, each GTA protagonists and stories are unique. For example, San Andreas has an Afro American gangster dealing with other Afro American gangs and police, Vice City has an Italian mafia tries to get rid of his past crime family and build his drug empire. LCS has an Italian mafia just like Vice City, and this guy works for Leone Family, just like III. Second of all, Tony is a loser. All 3D era GTA protagonists start as nobody, work hard and end up at the top. Even Claude achieved some things: he got his revenge and was with Maria at the end. But Tony starts as nobody, doesn't work for himself, and ends up as nobody. My third reason is Maria Latore. For me, Maria is the best GTA III character. She is beautiful, crazy, enjoyable, funny and childish. I loved her so much in GTA III. LCS ruined her for me. She is just a crying b*tch in LCS, and she is not even beautiful anymore. Long story short, I think LCS is the worst GTA game because of its unoriginal and unnecessary plot and character settings, a loser protagonist and a side character the game ruined.

I like GTA IV's driving physics as slidy they may be but they really allow me do a lot of cool things driving cars like proper drifting which is not that good in other titles. I think they're the best cuz they feel "realistic"

They are easily the most realistic and fun physics in any gta game. The AI in 4 is better too. From a pure sandbox perspective, 4 is hands down the very best one.

San Andreas introduced me to gta games 15 years ago, and its only one that story i have completed. I simply adore this game. No game i have played has the same feeling that when i start a new game i want to complete the full story in a one day. Just pure happiness with playing this mastepiece. ❤

I'm doing a playthrough of gta lcs reverse engineered for pc and i plan on playing vcs right after with a ps2 emulator. I've also never finished advanced or China Town wars or lost and dammed

While gta 4 (and episodes) and vice city are my favorite games, I still have high respect for your ranking. Love how high you put GTA 3 - when i was a around 5 when GTA San Andreas came out, my sisters friend borrowed it to me when I already had GTA 3. I played San Andreas for the smallest of time when he borrowed it me and went straight back to GTA 3. Looking back now I way prefer San Andreas but I definitely put GTA 3 above Vice City for the 3d era games.

Among the games i played 1. GTA IV - Phenomenal story, great atmosphere, the best combat in the series (unpopular opinion i know, but i can survive and escape a 6 star wanted level easily without cheats) my only criticism is its not as action packed as GTA V or the others 2. San Andreas - its old, it didn't age too well, but still a ton of fun 3. Ballad of Gay Tony - it brought back the much needed action that GTA IV was lacking 4. Lost and Damned - It has good potential but the story was too short imo 5. GTA V - The story felt way too short and underwhelming, wasn't a lot of combat heavy missions, story's pacing was all over the place, characters are usually obnoxious douchebags, but its still enjoyable and has very fun moments
