@@lol-de4lo But in IV you actually get choices on your approach. And the story is amazing. And the gameplay is amazing. The physics are amazing. The atmosphere, the music etc. GTA V is miles wide but an inch deep. It’s got the most weapons, and the least gunfights. Boring missions (tell me which missions you replay the most, the ones with shooting in right? Thought so.) Weapons all feel the same. It’s got three protagonists yet the shortest story. The biggest map yet the still the emptiest. It’s all scripted.

@@unr8ted77 GTA v has boring missions? Have you played GTA IV? There's barely any memorable missions in it. All of the missions are the same. Go to place and shoot some people and then leave. But in five theres several interesting missions. The one where you go in the cargo plane, the one where you see a woman shredded by a plane engine and the one where you go on a bike ride with Jimmy. And you're telling me that GTA IV is better because there's more trash on the streets or because the cars control like boats. Meanwhile GTA 5 have mountains, planes, tanks, open countryside and like a hundred different cars.
@youmakenosense74372 жыл бұрын
@@lol-de4lo The argumment of GTA IV having repetitive missions, can't be any farthest from the truth, while it's true that most GTA IV missions consist on killing people, saying that they don't have variations is nothing but false, on the contrary, there was always a different context and ways of dealing with the target on each mission. In one mission you had to take the subway while acting discreetly, in other mission you had to take a truck full of bombs, the later mission you had to follow the target on car without being noticed only to proceed to kill him in a warehouse with all his alleys, later you had to do defend alleys as an sniper, later you had to call the target to find his voice on real time in-game and either kill him stealthy or loudly, and I can keep going on, and on. What made GTA IV's missions great was how well they showed the job of being a hitman, all while balancing them with great ones that came in the middle and varied things even more (Roman's Sorrow, Waste Not Wants Knots, Three Left Clover, Hostille Negotiation, Descontruction For Beginners, etc, etc, etc) that stood out and were special because of that, as oppossed to GTA V, where no single mission aside from Heist stands out because most of them are pure spectacle and on-rails shootouts with little to none player input where you would get a mission failed for the slightest stuff, unlike GTA IV, where most missions had fair connection to the open world, which allowed you to be creative in how to complete them.
@lol-de4lo2 жыл бұрын
@@youmakenosense7437 some of them may have a couple different things but to be honest few of them are memorable and those which are, are not missions where you shoot a bunch of enemies. The amount of missions where you just kill a bunch of enemies is ridiculous. My rank: 1- GTA 4 (amazing story, the deepest in the series, characters that feel realistic and relatable, amazing setting and an incredible gameplay with the best physics ever and very engaging for the combat and shooting system, great graphic and effects) 2- San Andreas (great story that feels like a journey that leads you to visit all three cities of the state each of them is unique, the 90s gangsta vibe is iconic, and it's the only game where you can change your character's appearance skinny to fat or muscular and make him learn new moves in the gym) 3- The Lost and Damned (great story, the only gta game to have a bikers theme to it, feels unique and engaging. I really loved the story in this one and the fact you spend the majority of the game on a bike) 4- Vice City Stories (it combines vice city's atmospheres with San Andreas better gameplay, it has a very good story and characters and I really enjoyed it) 5- The Ballad of Gay Tony (story feels a bit rushed but it has tons of adrenalinic missions and adds stuff to gta 4 and the lost and damned gameplay that I already loved) 6- GTA 5 (Map is very big but out of Los Santos it also feels very empty especially on ps3, when compared to other game with big maps like rdr 1 and 2. I liked the random events and customization system but the story is short, and feels rushed and underwhelming and in the end very cartoonish too especially if you pick ending C. Only Michael out of the 3 characters of the game feels well developed. The gameplay unexplainably takes a step back from gta 4 in some areas and removed features and other stuff, but the graphic is the most realistic in the series) 7- GTA Vice City (great story and atmospheres and soundtrack loved the 80s vibe to it and the Scarface/Miami Vice feeling this game had. Unfortunately the gameplay is close to being unplayable today especially for stuff such as the bad AI, extremely imprecise shooting mechanics, inability to swin and the clunky controls that make the protagonist feel limited and make a lot of the more complicated missions a lot more difficult and frustrating to complete to the point that you're tempted to quit the game and never going back to it if you play it today. Unfortunately the so called definitive edition did nothing to improve the games performances for today's standards, but only made the game look shiner) 8- GTA 3 (everything I said about gta vice city is even worse in gta 3 which feels even more unplayable today and almost broken as a game. It was amazing for its times but now only feels frustrating to play especially if you do the story missions. The story isn't even that engaging, it's hard to feel involved in the plot when your character doesn't say a word the whole game. At least for me... Therefore I would say it's the worst game in the series imo. Unless you're an old gamer and die hard fan of the gta series you definitely don't want to play this one.) Haven't played the others.

I would not have chosen GTA4 as #1. The car handling is just too floaty for me. The other 3D games just have a better physics engine.

Sorry for your loss guys. I lost my sibling last week and I’m still reeling
@thepenguinsrafterme2 жыл бұрын
It’s never easy, but I hope your heart can start healing soon. Also, I’m sorry for your loss. I hope this helps you as much as it helped me. As for grief, you’ll find it comes in waves. When the ship is first wrecked, you’re drowning, with wreckage all around you. Everything floating around you reminds you of the beauty and the magnificence of the ship that was, and is no more. And all you can do is float. You find some piece of the wreckage and you hang on for a while. Maybe it’s some physical thing. Maybe it’s a happy memory or a photograph. Maybe it’s a person who is also floating. For a while, all you can do is float. Stay alive. In the beginning, the waves are 100 feet tall and crash over you without mercy. They come 10 seconds apart and don’t even give you time to catch your breath. All you can do is hang on and float. After a while, maybe weeks, maybe months, you’ll find the waves are still 100 feet tall, but they come further apart. When they come, they still crash all over you and wipe you out. But in between, you can breathe, you can function. You never know what’s going to trigger the grief. It might be a song, a picture, a street intersection, the smell of a cup of coffee. It can be just about anything…and the wave comes crashing. But in between waves, there is life. Somewhere down the line, and it’s different for everybody, you find that the waves are only 80 feet tall. Or 50 feet tall. And while they still come, they come further apart. You can see them coming. An anniversary, a birthday, or Christmas, or landing at O’Hare. You can see it coming, for the most part, and prepare yourself. And when it washes over you, you know that somehow you will, again, come out the other side. Soaking wet, sputtering, still hanging on to some tiny piece of the wreckage, but you’ll come out. Take it from an old guy. The waves never stop coming, and somehow you don’t really want them to. But you learn that you’ll survive them. And other waves will come. And you’ll survive them too. If you’re lucky, you’ll have lots of scars from lots of loves. And lots of shipwrecks.

Gta 4 sucks, it's so called "physics" Doesn't acknowledge that friction exists. The way our character just flies out of the car when we crash the car is so laughably unrealistic. The people who think gta 4 "physics" Are realistic are kids who have never driven a car in their life. Gta v and gta san Andreas have the most realistic driving. This guy is a fucking gta 4 fanboy. Whenever I say gta v is better than gta 4, they call me a kid, they don't know that I've played gta san Andreas before they were even born. Rant over

@@thechannelthatdoesnotexistnot only are GTA 4’s physics really unrealistic, but I’ve also seen many GTA 4 diehard fans say that GTA 5 has ‘arcadey’ or ‘cartoony’ physics. It’s crazy how those fans will just blatantly lie to defend their favorite game

I remember being disappointed by GTA4. It was the first game since San address and they had removed so much from what you could do in that game. I also wasn’t the biggest fan of the City, I found no large distinction between any part of the map and after awhile I just got bored driving through a city that just felt the same everywhere you went
@thesauce72892 жыл бұрын
Yeah and Niko was such a boring main character compared to CJ. He had no personality. The map was boring and the story wasn’t nearly as good or interesting. GTA 5 was a huge improvement on 4 thankfully though

One of the cool things is with GTA: London 1969 for the PS1, if you had a Gameshark (& the code), you could play the game without the original Grand Theft Auto game. I got tons of play time in both GTA2, GTA:VC, & GTA:SA.

This is by far the most correct ranked gta video I have ever seen .. I couldn’t agree more with all this 💯 I have them all in my collection .. R* Rules .. Especially the gta series .. (Allmost) all gems .. I love them from day 1 .. even the old gameboy versions.. The only bad thing they ever did was release that trilogy.. What a stupid idea when there are so many expectations .. everyone is waiting for 6 for ages and what do they give us .. 🚮 .. in fact they should give everyone a refund for that game which obviously they never gonna do .. What a waste of money that was .. anyway what’s done is done 🤷🏼 Thx for this great video 🫶🏻😉

So glad GTA V wasn't at the top. Many people enjoy it, but unless your playing online/with friends, playing it by yourself after you beat the game, its kinda boring. The older you get, the less time you have for online gaming. So as much as I enjoyed GTA V, its not that great single-player-wise. San and Vice are still better and even have better licensed music. Though I think I may be partial to Vice because I was a 80s kid. As for GTA 4.... I just hated the game. Mostly because it really left the hrasher comedy in it for a more serious/real world.
