Badland 2500 winch solenoid troubles

Just a short video I filmed working on my Badlands 2500 winch. I filmed it awhile ago and the winch is still working now.
I’m just showing what worked for me. So be careful if you try this on your own. I’m not a mechanic, just a redneck.

just had a similar problem myself, wouldn’t go in or out but i could hear it clicking. this is the only video i saw that made sense. thank you! 😂

i had backwards wires on mines.. bat was on the motor side of the relays. switched them up and works fine now.. gotta love the cheap labor i guess. lol thanks for video tho. it got me to look at wiring

You had the same issue as the video? Your negative and positive wires were backwards on the winch terminal attached to the winch or was it backwards in the relay?

@@caylenphegleyOP relay wasnt wired right . i had to open up the wireless box and move the wires to right post .

My solenoid is all one piece not a cover i guess im going to have to buy a whole new one

Instead of just telling us how you did it, you should have just did the fix AHAIN in real time. Step by step.
