Right when you went to cut the hose with those cable cutters, I was like "that's not gonna work, I would have already heard of that trick". now I'm on amazon ordering cable cutters lol. btw I had the same take on the nylon braded stuff but its awesome. no more sore finger tips! Glad the videos are rolling again man!

When you order the fuel line im just trying to get this right, it say’s selling by the foot so let’s say I want to order 20ft of it, does it come in pieces or it’s just the full length? I know use common sense but still.
@BadLuckGarage4 жыл бұрын
It’ll be a continuous piece.

I have a 58 PSI regulator from a C5 corvette that I'll be running where the charcoal cannister is so I have to figure out how to go from that clip style fuel connector on the regulator to -6 so everything is -6 from the stock line to the fuel inlet on the LS2 line. Will come back to comment when I've found the parts that do that

I have other videos on different swaps I’ve done covering that type of setup. Look in the DR Nova playlist. We’ve done multiple swaps on this channel using several different configurations and they’re all covered in detail in their own playlists to make information easy to find. 👍

The links to the corvette filter/regulator and adapters you need are in the description of this video from the DR Nova playlist. kzbin.info/www/bejne/b5KaZqWQp6x5ntE

I CAN'T SEE WHAT YOUR DOING, FIX THE FN CAMERA... LOL! Joking bud, great video Robert. I had to redo all the fuel lines on my 3rd gen, they was in ruff shape. Wish i'd heard of Shitbox supply when i was buying fittings . Those Russel fittings was gonna put me in the poor house!

This entire line of products was just released last week brother. 👍🏻

Are you running a regulator? I know these cars have a return style fuel system and the truck fuel rails do as well, but you mentioned you're using the stock filter and hard lines, but there's not regulator between the rail and the hardline. Only asking because I'm working on my LS swap and I'm using the truck rails/intake as well and I'm new to fuel systems.
@BadLuckGarage4 жыл бұрын
Using the rail regulator.

I’m guessing the collars for the fittings are built in to the fitting itself? I’ve seen guys use fittings with a collar going over the nylon on the hose, but I didn’t see you use a collar so I’m confused.
@BadLuckGarage4 жыл бұрын
These aren’t nylon hoses. So that may be why you’re confused. These are nylon braided stainless reinforced rubber hoses. And the entire assembly process is shown pretty clearly in the video.

These won’t even attempt to cut through my stainless braided line. Already tried.

Looks like i found my fuel supply guy to call that is some nice stuff from shitbox lol hell yeah love the name
@BadLuckGarage3 жыл бұрын
It’s pretty nice for the money, but keep in mind it’s still rubber so the ethanol smell does leach through. It’s good for running short lengths from a hardline to the engine, or for making transmission or coolant lines, but if you wanna run braided line all the way up then you really need to use PTFE braided line with modern fuels or you’re gonna be stinking up your garage. Hopefully Matt will start carrying some PTFE stuff in the shitbox supply line soon though. I’ve told him he really needs to.

Why not loop the lines together with a short section to check the connections under pressure once the pump gets figured out. Create a big loop.
@BadLuckGarage4 жыл бұрын
Because they wouldn’t build pressure. The fuel would just flow through the feed line and straight out the return line back to the tank.
