Coach, about the left audio channel, is the microphone the only recording device? If so, I think it's because the audio jack may be connected only to the left channel circuitry part of the audio socket. Maybe it's dirty, maybe it's defective. But you can edit the audio with some editing program like Audacity to copy the left channel to the right channel, OR flatten into mono channel. I hope this information will help.

Thank you so much for the information. I hope you are living near me. I have no idea on such things. On my next recording I will check it first and then do the recording. I admire people like you who knows such things so well. The best way I can do it do same way and check if sound comes out both sides otherwise I will get some help from someone who knows. Thank you very much. Lee

Coaching Badminton I am playing for 4 years and a state level player kind of self taught player by videos , I have a coach but he knows a little about advance badminton. From india , ground work always in physical like sideways , running , strides , some agility , sprints.
@coachingbadminton
@coachingbadminton 7 жыл бұрын
That is good you do that. But it has to be balanced. Let say you are training three times a week about two hours each time. The most imporatnt thing you must do first is on court shuttle hitting (drills), match play, footwork training, weight training, running. You can also choose differently depending on your badminton ability. If you loose more matches due to poor hitting skills then you must spend more time hitting. If you losse matches due poor fitness then spend time more on it. So it is depending on. Lee

Hi Coach Lee , is there any difference between neutral grip and ready grip ? If i am defending in the left side of the court when playing doubles what situation my right leg should be in front because if i put my right leg behind to protect the center of my court with my partner, it would be hard for me to defend my opponent smash to my backhand side when i am on the left side of the court. My left arm and body just block my racket swing to defence. Thanks a lot
@coachingbadminton

No it is same. I use both to explain same grip. Thanks. Lee

Sir, although I've played few tournaments and won only 3 titles. now I'm 33 and I don't feel motivated as I don't have any one to build my confidence. your videos are awesome and I've tried many techniques. the only thing I lack is power. how do I improve power shots? is there any magic in wrist or do I've to do some weight lifting? Kindly advice.
@coachingbadminton
@coachingbadminton 7 жыл бұрын
Let say, you have a lot of power in your body but do not have right skills of hitting shuttlecock. And age 12 years old boy has less then half of power in his body then you but has very good hitting skills. The 12 years old boy will hit much harder then you due to his right skills. Before you try to make your body strong to be able to hit harder, it will be better and more beneficial to improve your hitting skills, movement skills and timing of hitting first. I found out that 19 out 20 times players hit harder due to having better skills then stronger body. Weight lifter of world champion will hit much weaker then 10 years of a girl who trained 3 years. And she will beat him easy in badminton. Thank you so very much for your kind comment on my clips and I am most pleased to know. Lee

Coaching Badminton agree with this satement coach lee. A friend of mine said it too "You have a big power but your shoots is weaker than me which is less power than you, why? Because i hit it with the right way, the right timing, and also the right posture. :)

Your wrist power is really phenomena, do you need regular muscle training to maintain this kind of hitting power? or just proper technique will do?
@coachingbadminton
@coachingbadminton 7 жыл бұрын
You can have it too. I am very sure. You need right grip, hand and figer power as well as wrist power and finally hvaing right way of hitting swing (not widing swing but simple reaction/return swing)

I think but middle range racket and bit heavy and strong racket would be good. You can buy the best expensive one in next 2-3 years. I do not think you need it yet. If you have a reasonable racket then that would be good enough. Lee
